Lu Ping’an and his team had grown accustomed to the boredom and monotony of long-term interstellar travel.
In the past, they had become quite skilled at killing time... Most would be on vacation, sleeping from dawn to dusk, which was quite normal, even Lu Ping’an would slack off for a while.
After all, the fatigue and tension following Exotic Realm exploration required relaxation to alleviate, and although they would be on leave upon returning to the homeland... the schedules of most were even more hectic than in the Foreign Domain.
Pending tasks at home, opportunities for personal advancement, trading exotic materials and reaping rewards, buying equipment and materials for Advancement, gathering local intelligence for advancement opportunities, and showing off gains to other teams... often, the first week back was the most exhausting for Explorers, and that was under the premise of having returned safely.
"The training grounds, the library, are they still crammed...? They’ve become so diligent I hardly recognize them."
Lu Ping’an’s Courtyard was now experiencing full occupancy, with everyone, whether from his own group or companions, seizing every moment to improve themselves.
This was highly abnormal... Lu Ping’an had seen many pre-war scenarios, but this time it was clearly too unusual.
"Who would have thought that this day would come so quickly."
"Yeah, now even our homeland is not safe..."
Regardless of previous hardships, most warriors could face them rationally, but this time, when their homeland was threatened... when the fire finally reached their own feet, many truly panicked.
Just by looking at the points income during this period, there was a direct surge of 120%. It seemed that many were going all in.
"The Fishmen, they’re also willing to transform, it’s just..."
A task on Lu Ping’an’s schedule had long been completed, it wasn’t hard to incorporate new possibilities into Beastification Sculptures, but "Fishman Transformation" was complete trash as a Beastman Transformation.
However, as Lu Ping’an advanced, "Beastman Transformation" went from completely random to some degree of pseudo-randomness... The Courtyard, as always, offered all sorts of services as long as you paid.
The most basic service was to eliminate a specific possibility. Ninety percent of the time, Lu Ping’an noted, they would omit Mouse-man... To choose a specific low-level species for Beastification was quite cheap, but such a method would never randomly grant access to Mythical Species or fantastical kinds, mostly they were blank, useless transformations.
But, Lu Ping’an could plainly see that among the Courtyard, the Ark, and the streets, there were many more Half-beastmen with scales.
"They’re really desperate, truly desperate."
Lu Ping’an, however, remained calm. He knew that even if Wailong State was attacked, the entire sea level was far from collapsing, and much less to say about the inner Safe zones.
This incident did not necessarily signify the failure of the defense lines... The Pacific Ocean was vast; a high-level Extraordinary Demon deep diving into the sea was simply unstoppable.
Just imagine someone like Lu Ping’an diving into the sea, finding a point in the entire ocean defense line to break through; it would be a miracle to stop him.
But, this also made everyone aware of a reality.
"Aus people, you really deserve to die..."
An open Spatial rift, countless Exotic Races freely entering this world, leaving them to roam the big blind box of the ocean, endless trouble.
It is like a festering wound, continuously bleeding the world dry; if not addressed promptly, no one could bear the consequences.
How to stop it? Is there a way to intercept? Anyone with a bit of strategic insight would know that there’s no targeted cure-all for this, and in the end, the only effective method is to deploy sufficient sea combat power to hold the front.
With enough forces, naturally, all problems could be solved; without sufficient naval and underwater strength, the whole world would be incessantly attacked, slowly bleeding out, gradually being dragged to its demise.
"So it seems, the super training in the Mercury 42 World is actually the only solution?"
Lu Ping’an also smiled, a bit bitter, a bit helpless.
In most cases, such grand strategies are clear to all involved, transparent, but that doesn’t mean they can be easily solved.
Lu Ping’an was dispatched as a "Sea Battle World Combat Expert", but the more of an expert he is, the more he understands the cruelty and helplessness of the bloodshed in the Pan-Ocean World.
The coastline is too long, and the ocean is too vast and deep; a coastal town can easily be attacked by Sea Demons, Fishmen.
He watched the Half Fishmen bustling in the courtyard, gaining some insight... Perhaps many see further than himself, having made plans for their latter half of life.
"...Get some Mythical Fishman Bloodline, expand the product inventory a bit."
The Fishman Bloodline is not a legacy of the Beast God; its basis lies with the inhabitants of Mercury 42, or rather, the Octopus Tribe that has broken free from the Octopus’ control.
The range in strength is enormous, with Whale Fishman Lords vastly different from the Dwarf Fishmen... Most decision-makers are not solely focused on their power but rather their aquatic combat traits.
Even with the ability to breathe underwater, humans are not on the same level as true Fishmen in sea combat.
Lu Ping’an pondered that he couldn’t always allow his customers to be at a disadvantage when choosing at random from a pile of trash; even if he couldn’t offer the powerful Mythical Species from the Beast God’s Treasury, he needed to produce more Silver-level Fishman Bloodlines.
"Fortunately, most people get decent Fish species; the ones who ended up with Little Fishman species are very few..."
This was not by chance but rather the "Self-Balancing Mechanism" of the Courtyard.
Lu Ping’an originally thought the randomness of Beastification Avatar was true randomness, only to later realize it was pseudo-random.
The Courtyard always takes fair trade as its fundamental rules, not exactly loathing "gambling," but certainly disliking it; it is actually a "redistribution of income" mechanism... The Power of Life amassed is eventually given back, aside from the fair trade tax, it doesn’t require additional profit.
After a number of unlucky ones, there’s bound to be a big winner.
Although this is fair in a sense, it doesn’t mean much for the unlucky ones.
If Lu Ping’an adds Powerful species, the chance of getting the worst Fish species will increase as a form of Self-Balancing.
"...Maybe I should conduct a survey to see the situation."
Lu Ping’an did a survey and found that at least eighty percent were willing to add New Mythical Species, even if it increased their chances of bad luck.
Clearly, most do not think they will be the unlucky ones... There were also some who already had a Beastman Transformation, waiting to enjoy the commotion.
"By the way, can you perform Beastman Transformation?"

Someone asked casually when they had nothing else to do, posing the question to a member of the Phoenix Fire Tribe, and the result... The first Flame Centaur with fins appeared.
After testing, not only could they perform it, but their compatibility was quite good.
So, Lu Ping’an was moved, considering they were already Flaming Creatures, if they gained a Beastman form... Elements coupled with formidable muscle Talent, wouldn’t that be halfway to a Mythical Species?
Thus, a New Species obtained its first Stable Mutation.
The Centaurs with fins drew attention, and perhaps they were destined to become Guardians of the vast oceans of Earth.
