"The entire world is a cycle."
"The Earth Realm, Underworld, Heavenly Realm, perhaps correspond to the legendary Mortal World, Purgatory, and Heaven."
"However, there is no Heaven here..."
Su Xi sighed, setting aside his "Diary of the God of Intense Thunder and Xia Yu," the contents recorded were too negative and detrimental to overall development.
This is the Heavenly Realm, the paradise of mortal memories.....
"This is merely a battlefield, not much different from other worlds....."
Looking around, it’s an endless sky.
Countless Floating Islands drift mid-air, with tangible clouds sprawling across the world. Above, Divine Beasts and Angels sing, while Divine Envoys traverse the Floating Islands, conveying the will of the Deities.
’Over there lies a starry sky, with the moon and stars floating nearby, beneath halos suspended majestic Valkyries.’
Nearby, a Dragon Swarm moves freely on the Floating Islands, with massive Thunder Dragons appearing like short-legged puppies before the colossal Giants.
This is a fantastical world brimming with secrets, where Holy Light coexists with Deities. Pure Angels here are merely ordinary Races; calling it a fantasy paradise in the eyes of mortals isn’t incorrect...that is, if you exclude the "Black Zones."
"Your Excellency, Black Zone No. 0371 has been breached again, if circumstances permit..."
"I will send someone."
An Angel landed on the shoulder of the large God of Intense Thunder, Su Xi. They, appearing beautiful and androgynous, swift and spiritually sensitive, primarily serve as Messengers, conveying the will of the "World" to various God Big Shots.
And now, she delivered yet another invitation from War.
The nearby Black Zone erupted again.
A multitude of Exotic Realm visitors arrived in this Heaven. Warriors and Legions of the Deities were already prepared.
Calling upon the Thunder Authority, Su Xi picked up his weapon. Being newly Ascended, he needs battle achievements to prove himself.
The God of Intense Thunder stepped onto the battlefield without a hint of joy.
He had been in this world for less than a week yet had personally fought four times....his
"Here, resources are abundant, the scenery sublime. The various Races are naturally strong and perfect. The World Rules limit lifespan to near Infinite, no sickness or famine; it’s a paradise...if it were five hundred years ago."
At this moment, behind him, in the skies of this beautiful world, those "holes" appeared like tears in white paper, revealing hideous, foul-smelling apertures.
One, two.....taking a casual glance, and seeing hundreds.
How much longer can this world last? Su Xi, who had just arrived in this "Heaven," instinctively asked himself.
This was not just an outsider’s malicious speculation but a logical deduction after experiencing too many World Apocalypses.....the countless cracks in the world attested to the harshness of the environment and battlefield.
"Simultaneously targeted by several Multi-universe Heavenly Calamities, this world truly is fortunate..."
He sighed, feeling somewhat helpless, somewhat despairing.
Ascending again in this world might not be a good thing.
For someone who had gone through so much, if it were merely battlefield harshness, he could endure, but...
"This thing, why did it come again....."
He looked up at the sky, a vast shadow covering the entire world. Having just returned from the earthly battlefield, he knew exactly what it was.
"...God Above Gods."
He sighed again, escaping from the Wolf pack only to jump into the Tiger’s den?
And if it’s still just this....the strength and limit of this world far exceed Earth; he wouldn’t be so helpless.
"One, two, three, four...."
In the world above, in the void, these shadows attempting to devour the world are not alone.
"How much longer can this world hold on?"
Even if in the next moment the entire world were torn asunder, Su Xi wouldn’t be surprised.
At this moment, Su Xi felt numb, yet, having accepted the world’s strength, it seemed he saw no other path forward.
He pondered briefly before continuing to write in his "Diary."
Simultaneously, another diary on the Earth Realm began writing content automatically...
"Do not Ascend, never Ascend, external enemies are strong, extremely strong, and even Free Deities newly entered into the Temple of Ten Thousand Gods are merely advanced losers....."
"Thanks to the predecessors’ gifts and pit-falls.... "
Old predecessors’ virtues are stepping into pits often enough, thus they often prepare many backups.
Just like that Thunder God Su Xi, who’s hailed as the Millennium Thunder, left a series of backups before entering the Heavenly Realm.
One of which is a "Twin Birthday Diary," an Exotic Realm Secret Treasure of unknown level that allows information transmission across time and worlds through writing.
And now, the added contents in the diary inform the newcomers on the Earth Realm about the oddities in the Heavenly Realm.....knowing it’s a battlefield, but not expecting it’s at such levels.
"Can it be confirmed? A single information source isn’t reliable."
"It’s not a single information source...several god predecessors left means of transmitting information, and their ascending positions in the Heavenly Realm are different, but the information transmitted is largely the same, all very bad."
"Could they have approached the core? After all, newcomers have a trial period, and Newborn deities should only serve as hired thugs."
"There’s a possibility of that.....but are you ascending?"
"Uh, better not for now."
Lu Ping’an spoke, only realizing he had subconsciously accepted this information.
Probably spiritual intuition, maybe rational judgement, or perhaps the habit of encountering too many World Apocalypses.....Lu Ping’an saw no Eternal in the worlds he encountered, not yet at least.
Now, he vaguely sensed, the "world" accessible to him and humanity, within the Infinite Multi-universe, occupied almost comparable "levels," belonging to those worlds on the verge of being entirely engulfed by contamination, struggling to survive as the unlucky ones.
Moreover, the Silent Mountain Range constantly hinted to him that when facing risk and pressure, while most areas are festively adorned, often there’s something terribly wrong in some places, just unseen by you.
"What are the outsiders like? There must be some information?"
"Reportedly, they’re several cosmic-level disasters, among which are real contamination Ethnic groups..."
This made Lu Ping’an somewhat surprised.
Generally speaking, worlds entirely eroded by contamination will eventually self-destruct.
But there are always exceptions and variations.....some worlds manage to coexist with contamination, or the entire Ethnic group and organizations wholly transformed as part of the contamination.
Such existing Ethnic groups are extraordinarily dangerous and powerful, often deliberately dragging other worlds down.
Though Lu Ping’an hadn’t encountered them directly in his previous Doomsday journeys, he had heard of them.....the scenes he experienced before weren’t worth those monstrous Ethnic groups intervening.
"Numerous God Above Gods? Just how long can this world hold.... "
