When Lu Ping’an lay in the coffin, he had no idea how long this hibernation would last, but instinctively estimated that it wouldn’t be quick.
He would complete a reconstruction within the "Rebirth Nest," fusing the power of his Magic Pet into himself while using materials of the World-Destroying God to craft a new "human-shaped template."
A duration of one or two months would be considered smooth. If it took half a year, it would still be reasonable..... Unfortunately, with bad luck, it could last ten or thirty years.
After all, this time it was truly a case of "God Sculpting."
Of course, there was always a risk of failure..... but Lu Ping’an believed he was unlikely to fail. His existence had already been conceptualized, making it nearly impossible to "dissolve in water." At most, it might just take more time to reassemble and reshape.
Yet his slumber didn’t mean the events had come to an end.
To be precise, the results of the war were already certain—humanity had secured victory, but no one knew how much longer it would take to declare the definitive end of the war.
"Soon, it should be soon. Those spatial rifts on Ben Island in Australia, along with the island itself, are gone. Reinforcements from the Exotic Realm Invaders will struggle to enter this world now....."
While Lu Ping’an rested, the world’s progression couldn’t simply come to a halt.
The New Gods, Exotic Realm Invaders, and Dragon-Snake forces—who knew how much longer this war would drag on.
Even with the disappearance of the spatial rifts in Australia, the essential planetary elevation had made its residents stronger, while simultaneously attracting the attention of higher-dimensional worlds and bringing new troubles.
Earth’s natural barriers had yet to "heal," and naturally, this would draw numerous issues..... An open-gate world would quickly become a favorite for many Exotic Realm raiders.
The news of defeating the Octopus Forces might deter certain proactive troublemakers, but there was no telling if other problems would arise because of it.
Naturally, these new troubles couldn’t compare to the Plane War brought by the Octopus Forces, yet the surge in local Extraordinary events and Exotic Realm invasions was inevitable..... They may not be extraordinarily difficult, but they’d certainly be extraordinarily troublesome. Unlike the targeted and strategized approach against the Octopus Forces, these sudden invasions by Exotic Realm races would be harder to detect and counter.
For grassroots members of the Special Service Team, the hardest and most dangerous tasks were not killing those Demons, but finding them and identifying them..... The classic combination of police and Special Service Teams wasn’t just about the police needing the combat power of Special Service teams; more importantly, it was about the Special Service Team requiring the manpower and investigative talents of the police. Many police units even specially hired detectives and informants.
While Lu Ping’an stepped off the frontline to rest, the guards on duty couldn’t afford to stop working.
Their war may have ended, and they might have returned from the agony of the frontline, but it simply meant transitioning from soldiers to police officers, facing equally exhausting and dangerous tasks.
The world was entering a tumultuous period of instability, far from being paused at will.
The good news, however, was the growing number of Extraordinary individuals within the Eastern Country..... Having endured the cleansing fire of war, more and more ordinary people were choosing to become Extraordinary.
Even with Trading Land’s preferential treatment, the "lifespan" cost required wasn’t a decision made lightly, let alone the countdown to either advancement or death once becoming a professional.
Previously, most who chose to become Extraordinary were young people, primarily because of their drive..... Back then, becoming Extraordinary would mean completely overturning their life, and it often led them to reshape their careers and life plans around their extraordinary status.
Now, however, the proportion of Extraordinary individuals had shifted significantly toward middle-aged and elderly people..... Instead of dying miserably at home, they would rather die fighting on the frontline.
At this rate, there was likely to be a widespread normalization of civilian Extraordinary individuals. Even if they became Extraordinary, they might not necessarily turn into warriors.
"The stability of professionals has improved....."
The traits of plane evolution were comprehensive, and its most evident characteristic was the enhanced stability of Extraordinary professionals. Many professionals teetering on the verge of losing control suddenly found themselves stabilized.
"Advancement has become easier....."
Numerous professionals stuck at bottlenecks inexplicably woke up one day and found themselves having taken a critical step forward.
"Professional Abilities have been inexplicably awakened."
Generally speaking, the main barriers to Extraordinary advancement were Professional Abilities, Professional Skills, and Basic Attributes.
Attributes could be honed and cultivated; if all else failed, one could always invest in Magic Potions. Professional Skills often depended on "knowledge," slowly accumulated over time and money investments. Only the awakening of Professional Abilities required the other two as prerequisites, while also heavily relying on luck and talent.
Sometimes, even after decades, you might still not know what you were missing.
Now, this seemingly "common" acquisition phenomenon for Professional Abilities likely signaled a fundamental reduction in the barriers to obtaining those reality-warping Extraordinary powers.
Though each of these seemingly minor improvements may not seem overwhelming on its own, collectively they represented a terrifying transformation. In the near future, the speed at which professionals advanced might multiply several times over.

In another sense, this was the world’s response to fostering more top-tier combat power.
It fundamentally raised the upper limits of the human race’s potential—a victory fruit won in the Plane War.
While this was somewhat comprehensible, the numerous "incidents" constantly overturning the experts’ understanding were far beyond ordinary.
"The average weight of newborns has increased by at least 1KG. Most children are showing signs of secondary development, growing taller and stronger. Even many middle-aged adults inexplicably appear to be regaining their youth, while numerous ordinary athletes worldwide are breaking their own records with significant improvements....."
It seemed even ordinary people had benefitted from the Plane War.
The black-to-gray hair reversal, children undergoing secondary development—all of it pointed to a noticeable growth in racial statistics. Research tests suggested the average human lifespan might have increased by at least 20%.
These phenomena were undoubtedly the dividends of war—a reward bestowed by the world as humanity took its first strides toward becoming one of the strong races in the Multi-universe.
Nonetheless, the originally anticipated comprehensive leap in evolution had temporarily paused.
It wasn’t that this level of natural evolution had sufficiently satisfied the decision-makers, but rather that time was needed for most people to stabilize under the new conditions. Using this new baseline, evolution methods and pathways could then be redesigned..... At a minimum, the knowledge and secrets brought by the God Above Gods needed to be fully digested by the developers of the Eastern Country to devise region-specific strategies to elevate racial potential.
Lu Ping’an had entered hibernation, but beforehand, he had prepared proclamations and laid plans, ensuring the team’s operations were running smoothly.
After all, the most critical aspects of war and combat always boiled down to arms and logistics.
Alongside the sinking of Dragon Moon Island came the return and migration of countless refugees..... The weary warriors of the Pacific Theater participated in this process as they transitioned their roles.
Though the "unsinkable frontline base" was lost, the mindset among the many ship-based warriors had improved significantly.
They were sailors and hunters, global seekers of alien prey—not the same frontline fighters uncertain of their survival from one battle to the next.
Confusion stirred by the Dragon-Snake, Foreign Domain visitors, and the New Gods remained, but their momentum had visibly declined. It seemed everything was steadily returning to normalcy.
Three months later, when the stars returned once more, certain things seemed to have finally reached their conclusion.
The gradually revitalizing "Newborns" also began to stir from their slumber, slowly awakening from their dreams.
