When the war began, none of the parties involved were surprised.
The attack was quite sudden; while the ground remained peaceful, the sky was filled with rumbling and explosions.
Coming in were various flying creatures, ranging from little birds to Flying Dragon Knights, seemingly from different camps but with a coordinated logic.
The explosives they dropped ignited a fiery flower on the ground... the strongest even hinted at the taste of a mushroom cloud.
But these small-scale mushroom clouds, exploding on the Silver Fortress, caused no ripples.
This is the Land Divine Country of the "Eternal Life God"; such level of attack can’t break its extension.
However, the probing has already achieved its effect...
"The recently expanded domain has been probed by them."
At the top of the tower, watching the birds and dragons in the sky, Lu Ping’an felt somewhat helpless.
The deities of this world and external deities like Lu are still somewhat different.
Even though he transformed into the Body of God, his courtyard still merged with the land... such Earthly Divine Kingdom is possessed by many high-level deities; Lu Ping’an simply acquired some authority early.
In this setup, even if the Body of God falls, there’s a certain chance of regeneration... Lu Ping’an doesn’t have expectations in this regard; opponents capable of killing him wouldn’t allow time for resurrection.
This method of building the Divine Realm is also a patented strategy for stable development pursued by big shots, and in this world, those truly possessing large-scale Divine Realms are possibly those ancient "Tenth-order" beings.
Lu Ping’an is far from that domain, not seeing any potential for sublimation in the short term; however, due to the confirmed direction of evolution and the fusion with the Divine Boat of this land, he possesses a form early.
The wind-fire Flying Horse formed by Little Flame shattered two birds.
But soon, those airborne attackers scattered in all directions.
They continued dropping various explosives, lighting up the sky above the "Divine Kingdom."
They were probing Lu Ping’an’s depths, and this was clearly not intelligence to be leaked; who knows what they’d do if they learned the Silver Fortress’s defense weaknesses...
"This path, forbidden."
Fei’er floated above the sky, easily intercepting all paths.
Lu Ping’an also hovered silently above the sky.
Facing those scattering Flying Bird Knights, he snapped his fingers.
Seeing each blossoming aerial blood flower, Lu Ping’an felt somewhat displeased.
He and his demigods had to personally act, which was problematic in itself.
"Air is our weakness..."
Of the over ninety birds and Flying Boats that attacked, more than forty escaped, and this was with Lu Ping’an’s personal intervention.
On Lu’s side, there genuinely aren’t many aerial units.
The main forces for air interception were actually Little Flame and some of her "Firebird Clan," which, as Flaming element creatures, were of no low calibre.
But aerial battles depend more on flight speed and attack range, and in these aspects, as aerial melee units, the fire elements’ abilities were really quite subtle.
"It seems some compensation is needed."
Lu Ping’an landed, not saying much; this wasn’t something that could be fixed by venting frustrations.
"Initiate Plan D."
Back in the courtyard, once again humanoid, Lu Ping’an convened a meeting.
Attendees included various demigods, high-level courtyard forces, some high-level Beast Tamers and researchers.
This wasn’t a strategy that needed much secrecy... when courtyard forces needed to fully mobilize, secrecy wasn’t possible.
"Plan D, also known as the Dragon Creation project, is one of our most important current tasks..."
As the Master of Life, Lu Ping’an indeed had some shortcomings.
Setting aside the Flaming Elemental Life of the Firebird Clan already completed, Lu Ping’an, as a God of Life, was rare in having no blood kin, no legitimate line.
This is because Lu Ping’an grew too quickly, having no time to cultivate his clan, and his abilities were overly unique, inclined to use life energy, manipulate the rules of life instead of specifically nurturing a certain life in the Life system, a system where creating and playing with life is the low threshold.
His legitimate line could be considered just a Sunflower... its intensity environment now quite subtle, as this world is too "Beastman-like," lacking powerful Magic Plants gene modules, and indeed the Magic Plants series doesn’t quite thrive.
"The dragon is a conceptual dragon and also one of bloodline. In our Eastern stories, the dragon is actually a fantasy creature, a complex organism fused from multiple species traits described in ancient books as having the head like a serpent, horns like a deer, eyes like a rabbit, ears like an ox, neck like a serpent, belly like a clam, scales like a carp, claws like an eagle and paws like a tiger..."
In this world, even in the multi-universe, there exist the Dragon Clan and the Dragon descendants.
However, Lu Ping’an’s Dragon Creation project adopts the Eastern concept, specifically the "Fantasy Beast God—Dragon."
He possesses various bloodlines and gene modules including True Dragon, yet lacks a genuine flagship product; after careful consideration, especially by Chris the Mother of Ten Thousand Beasts herself, a development direction was determined.
"Rather than upgrading one existing animal module to the mythical level, why not directly mix gene modules, starting with the Fantasy Divine Beast, and compared to Earthly Beast Tamers, what’s our biggest advantage?"
"Is it having gene modules of animals and Divine Beasts from worlds beyond Earth?" Lu Ping’an mused; local Beast Tamers have a lower ceiling primarily because Earth’s species are weak.
"No, it’s having gene modules of different life forms from multiple worlds," Big Cat suggested thoughtfully.
Though appearing similar in statement, the underlying concept is completely different. Chris’ point is that as Explorers who traversed so many worlds, advantageous gene modules from each world’s animals can be collected; by blending numerous, even tens of world gene modules into a Fantasy Divine Beast, as long as it doesn’t die on the spot, the ceiling is naturally higher.
So rather than cultivating birds, why not directly attempt higher-ceilinged Flying Dragons.
But unlike "Hollow Bones" avians, Flying Dragons’ physiological structure as Giant Beasts allowed them to fly, inherently designating them as Magical Beasts, which require more difficult cultivation.

However, with rules collected from demigods, Lu Ping’an activated "Acceleration external device," "Mutation plug-in," turning decay into miraculous, forcibly creating wonders isn’t it?
"Flying Dragon module successfully activated... flight duration six seconds, self-annihilated in mid-air."
"Diving Dragon module successfully activated, submerged for already one hour and twenty minutes! We may have succeeded..."
"This long... are you sure it didn’t drown?"
"Uh, I’ll go check... alright, Diving Dragon number 2341 drowned, initiating the next batch."
In the chaos, Lu Ping’an also completed his "Beastman Gene Module," a Little Dragon-man with a distinct Eastern Country flair.
