"What a coincidence."
Squinting her eyes, Flossie Wright took the initiative to greet her.
Mariana Buck’s brows furrowed as she looked at her, vaguely filled with suspicion.
In her view, the relationship between her and Flossie Wright should have been such that they wouldn’t exchange a word even upon meeting.
Mariana Buck responded coldly.
Stabbing the bamboo fork vertically into the river, Flossie Wright arched her eyebrow and asked indifferently, "Caught any fish?"
Mariana Buck answered with a stern face.
But her heart was full of doubts.
Somehow, when facing Flossie Wright, she suddenly felt a sense of being played.
Flossie Wright hadn’t finished speaking.
Out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of a figure and her gaze immediately swept to the riverbank.

Sandy Cruz was walking over, looking for something by the river, but as his gaze lightly swept over, it fell on them.
His gaze instantly froze.
Flossie Wright narrowed her eyes.
Quickly, Sandy Cruz regained his composure, calmness in the depths of his eyes, "Found a cave."
"I’ll get a couple of fish first."
With an arch of her brows, a smile played on Flossie Wright’s lips.
Sandy Cruz turned and walked away.
Flossie Wright shrugged her shoulders and didn’t bother with him anymore.
This awkwardness, coming out of nowhere, she decided to dismiss it as him feeling embarrassed upon seeing Belinda Nichols.
Soon, Sandy Cruz’s figure disappeared.
"Are you two together?"
After a while, Mariana Buck took the initiative to ask Flossie Wright.
Flossie Wright paused slightly and slightly raised her eyebrows, "In what sense?"
Ambiguously or not ambiguously?
Mariana Buck’s eyes flickered as she gave her a lingering look, "Moving together."
Flossie Wright spread her hands.
Wasn’t that obvious?
Without speaking further, Flossie Wright, holding the bamboo fork in her hand, headed straight towards the shallow waters ahead.
She hadn’t taken two steps before a cold voice came from behind.
Flossie Wright’s pace was steady, and she didn’t stop.
"Flossie Wright!"
A sudden shout, colder than before.
Only then did Flossie Wright stop, turn around, and look at her indifferently.
Mariana Buck faced her with a cold expression, and naturally, Flossie Wright didn’t bother to put on a smile.
Looking at her with furrowed brows, Mariana Buck had a slightly stiff expression, her words carrying a warning, "Don’t get too close to him."
After a moment, Flossie Wright suddenly laughed, "What are you afraid of?"
"Me, afraid?"
Mariana Buck’s eyebrows knitted together.
Lowering her eyes, Flossie Wright moved her wrist and thrust her hand holding the bamboo fork downward, speaking indifferently, "I won’t kill him."
"I don’t trust you." With colder eyes, Mariana Buck stared at her intently, a murderous intent spreading in her gaze, "Flossie Wright, you use me as an excuse to get close to him, what’s your purpose?"
"Purpose..." Flossie Wright chuckled softly.
Is that what she thought?
After thinking it over, Flossie Wright actually felt relieved.
Well, come to think of it, she really didn’t like Mariana Buck.
With a tilted head, Flossie Wright’s lips curled into a smile. She then raised her hand, with a fish impaled on the spear, right through the belly, motionless at the moment.
"As for my purpose, you guess," said Flossie Wright, as she turned around and lifted the fish spear upside down, shaking it slightly, her voice lazy, "Speaking of which, I quite like him."
Having said that.
She walked towards the place she was aiming for, holding the fish spear in her hand.
In the river, barefoot and with pant legs rolled up to her knees, she showed off her perfectly curved calves. The water wasn’t deep, so the hem of her pants wasn’t soaked at all.
Mariana Buck stood still, staring intensely at her retreating back.
