"Bring her home tomorrow."
Just as Flossie Wright was about to speak, Glenn Hutchinson said calmly and assertively.
However, all that greeted him was not only the satisfied look in Regan Wright’s eyes but also the scrutinizing gaze from Flossie Wright.
Furthermore, Glenn Hutchinson, the focus of all these different expressions, seemed to calmly accept all of them.
The atmosphere during dinner seemed calm, but underneath the surface, the tension was palpable. Even Merry Otiz, who was not directly involved in this situation, could feel an occasional tension in the atmosphere. He ate his dinner fearfully, wondering if it was only a matter of time before the table would be overturned, causing him much anxiety.
Unquestionably, Glenn Hutchinson, the "honoured guest", stayed the night at Wright’s residence after dinner. As one would expect, this provoked a few more defiant glances from Flossie Wright.
"Where is your son?"
Flossie Wright, who was standing by and listening to their conversation, picked up two oranges from the coffee table, tossing them into the air and throwing one towards Glenn Hutchinson, raising an eyebrow questioningly as she did so.
Although Flynn Reid Hutchinson appeared to be well-behaved and understanding, and it might be forgivable for Glenn to leave him alone at home all the time, Glenn and Flynn didn’t have many opportunities to spend time together.
As a father, he seemed ill-qualified for the job, no matter how you looked at it.
"He’s at his grandfather’s."
Glenn Hutchinson looked up and met her eyes with a reassuring gaze.
Ironically, this made it seem like Flossie was indeed concerned about Flynn.
Narrowing her eyes slightly, Flossie hesitated for a moment before quickly shifting her gaze away, tossing the orange in her hand around in the air. She could not be bothered to deal with Glenn’s issues any longer and proceeded to make her way upstairs to her room.
It was not yet time to sleep. Despite being away from the Forces, Flossie still generally adhered to the army’s schedule. All she could do with her free time was to play games on her laptop. However, she quit the game to browse the latest news instead.
She used to be more involved with world affairs and would pay attention to any updates from any region. She often came into contact with military news while in the Forces, but now that she was out and dealing with numerous issues, she had little time to pay attention. However, being somewhat informed did her no harm.
After all, she had to remain in the Forces for another two years.
Nobody knew what kinds of incidents she would encounter in the Forces.

"Knock. Knock. Knock."
As Flossie was about to turn a page, there was a knock on the door. She glanced towards the door, her voice chilly, "Come in."
The door wasn’t locked, and with a slight turn, it was opened.
As she expected, only Glenn Hutchinson, who never seemed to fear her, would disturb her at this hour.
"What is it?"
Flossie leaned back against the chair back, lifting her eyes to meet Glenn’s with a hint of hostility, asking him directly.
After taking a look around the room, Glenn Hutchinson’s response was quite straightforward. He walked leisurely towards Flossie, with no apparent intention of serious conversation.
To Flossie, he was merely a guest stopping by.
Flossie’s eyebrows knitted slightly together as her gaze shifted towards the window. She noticed a shadow moving outside, and without missing a beat, questioned him, "Someone’s watching you?"
"Isn’t that normal?"
Glenn Hutchinson casually responded to her, taking a seat besides her without any signs of tension or precaution.
