After handling the waiter’s matter, Flossie Wright returned to her original seat.
It wasn’t long before Iris Dukes had finished the large bowl of noodles, allowing the nervous waiter to breathe a sigh of relief.
If Iris Dukes hadn’t finished in time, she’d have been in a real financial mess.
With their stomachs full, the group didn’t linger and retraced their path back over the wall to school.
"Flossie Wright."
After saying goodbye to the others, Flossie had just returned to the Dormitory when she heard Jo Gillian’s voice.
She was writing a summary at her desk and didn’t even turn her head, as if she knew Flossie had returned.
Flossie glanced around the Dormitory but didn’t see Cassie Ferguson. Instead, she heard water running in the Restroom, probably indicating a shower was in progress.
Pausing her writing slightly, Jo Gillian turned her head to glance at her calmly and asked, "Have you finished the summary report?"
Flossie replied leisurely as she shut the door.
"Due tomorrow morning," Jo Gillian reminded.
Flossie acknowledged.
After speaking, she walked to her desk.
She pulled out paper and pen and, without any prior preparation, directly sat down to start writing the summary.
Just as Jo Gillian was about to continue her own writing, she couldn’t help but take a couple more looks at Flossie’s smooth pace, but she didn’t pay much attention and continued with hers.
In fact, what she was writing was not the summary but an evaluation of the female trainees who stayed.
As the temporary Captain, now that this training phase was over, she had to write her impressions and evaluations of them, which related to their comprehensive scores.
Lowering her head, Jo Gillian finished the evaluation on Flossie’s page and then turned to another page.
Cassie Ferguson’s name appeared at the top.
After a slight pause, Jo Gillian glanced towards the Restroom and finally furrowed her brows before starting to write.
Starting to write at ten o’clock, Flossie finished around midnight and handed the summary to Jo Gillian, who was still writing evaluations.
Like Flossie, Cassie, who had also quickly finished her summary, was already in bed sleeping.
"Pretty fast."
Taking the summary, Jo Gillian remarked with a smile.
Flossie replied nonchalantly.
Having gotten used to writing reviews, summaries were much of the same thing.
"Go get some sleep."
Setting the summary aside, Jo Gillian said amiably to Flossie.
Glancing at her desk, Flossie wasn’t in a hurry to leave. Instead, she raised an eyebrow, "Writing evaluations?"
Unlike their summaries, Jo Gillian’s desk was filled with printed pages, with one standalone paper beside it that had "Cassie Ferguson" written on it, so Flossie took a closer look.
Jo Gillian made no attempt to hide it.
Pausing slightly, she noticed Flossie’s gaze, then followed it to Cassie’s evaluation paper and pondered briefly, "How would you write it?"
She had intentionally left Cassie’s evaluation to write last.
Cassie’s evaluation was quite contradictory.
On one hand, her skill mastery and theoretical knowledge were unquestionable. Among the female soldiers, other than Jessie Grain, Belinda Nichols, Flossie Wright, and Iris Dukes, no one else was better than her.
In theory, with such capabilities, she should be guaranteed to stay. However, Jo Gillian couldn’t write a good evaluation of her.
She couldn’t even praise her if she wanted to.
Uncooperative, self-centered, impulsive, strong-headed...
She had many flaws.
In theory, these flaws could be corrected. A person’s weak points could be honed in the Forces, but Jo Gillian couldn’t find any merits in her personality. Naturally, she wasn’t confident she could change quickly.
