Flossie Wright stood at the stairs entrance, hands pocketed, calmly watching everything unfold. As she turned to go upstairs, she felt someone’s gaze on her.
Pausing, she lifted her gaze and met his eyes.
Austin Shepherd’s gaze was calm as it swept over her. At the moment their eyes met, he gave a small nod and quickly looked away.
After a slight pause, Flossie Wright turned and went upstairs.
Knowing Austin Shepherd was around, things wouldn’t escalate.
"You two," Austin Shepherd grimaced at Calvin Ramos and Stuart Weston, saying, "Go home and rest."
The two glanced at each other, acknowledging in unison.
But though they had acknowledged, they made no move, and remained in position.
Austin Shepherd suddenly chuckled, "Are you afraid I’ll bully her?"
By ’her’, he referred to Becca Reyes, of course.
Calvin Ramos stared at him, "This has nothing to do with her."
"That’s for me to decide." Austin Shepherd said seriously.
"Report Instructor!"
Stuart Weston suddenly shouted.
"What is it?" Austin Shepherd raised his eyebrows.
"It was me who started the fight with Calvin Ramos, it has nothing to do with Becca Reyes!"
Austin Shepherd didn’t reply.
"It’s true!" Stuart Weston was getting anxious.
"And then?"
Looking at him with a sigh, Austin Shepherd assured, "I’m not going to punish her."
