Chapter 139
"I want to see you."
With downcast eyes, Hutchinson Glenn lowered his head, and those deep and gentle words just floated down.
"Is that it?"
Flossie Wright stood quietly in front of him, her words full of an indifferent attitude.
Encountering Hutchinson Glenn at such a time was not a good thing.
After all, they were in a state of being enemy forces...

In the midst of the exercise, she didn’t mind seeing him, but before the exercise, she had an ominous premonition.
"No," Hutchinson Glenn denied.
"You tell me."
Flossie was utterly calm.
"The location you picked is not bad," Hutchinson Glenn commented, pausing briefly before adding, "However, they won’t be coming from behind."
By "behind," he naturally meant the side of the cliff.
"Oh?" Flossie raised her eyebrows.
She had analyzed that anyone with a brain would guess that the beach was the most likely ambush spot, and it was the cliff on this side that was unexpected. Moreover, with the strength of Hutchinson Glenn’s team, coming up from that cliff was not a problem at all.
Why abandon the easier plan for taking the island and choose to meet the ambush head-on?
"You don’t have to guess; I ordered it," Hutchinson Glenn spoke lightly, dispelling her doubts.
"Reasons," Flossie narrowed her eyes, her gaze suddenly turning cold.
He ordered it?
Did he look down on her?
"They want to meet you," Hutchinson Glenn slowly said, pushing the responsibility completely away.
"They?" Flossie frowned deeply.
Hutchinson Glenn confirmed.
It indeed took some time for him to find out about Flossie Wright’s group, as they weren’t aware of the other’s details before the start of the exercise.
However, to find out about Flossie alone was still not a problem.
And Flossie’s reputation had spread widely because of Willie Ash’s big mouth—nearly everyone at the Base knew her by now.
Those who wanted to see Flossie’s abilities were more than just one or two.
Conveniently, Hutchinson Glenn also wanted to see the extent of Flossie’s growth in strength.
"You’re not afraid I’ll annihilate them all?"
With arms crossed, Flossie asked slowly, her eyes becoming ever colder.
Being underestimated was indeed annoying, but this was not the first or second time Flossie had been underestimated. Anyway, underestimating someone often led to carelessness, and in the end, the one who benefited was Flossie herself, so there was nothing bad about it.
After all, she was used to it.
"That would be your ability," Hutchinson Glenn replied indifferently.
Even if Flossie annihilated them all, he would not be surprised.
Flossie, in combat, enjoyed creating surprises, and having seen it so often, he just felt it was natural.
As for the group that was coming...
In the end, they would be the ones to lose face.
"Fine," Flossie said lazily, glancing at him sideways before suddenly asking, "Are you done?"
"You’re rushing me off?" Hutchinson Glenn raised his eyebrows but found her attitude normal.
"What else?" Flossie retorted.
"Very well," speaking lightly, Hutchinson Glenn sighed, then took a step back, gazing steadily at Flossie, "Good luck."
Shrugging her shoulders, Flossie answered hastily.
Without lingering, Hutchinson Glenn cast a heavy look at her and then turned around, making his way back along the same path he came.
Flossie stood in place, watching his figure weave through the Jungle.
