Flossie Wright shrugged.
She doesn’t look like a woman?
After a pause, the girl noticed Flossie’s reaction, quickly realized, and stuck out her tongue a bit shyly towards Flossie, "Sorry, I saw you skiing a few days ago, you were really super, super cool."
Really, really, super, super cool.
Just thinking about it made the girl’s eyes fill with stars.
Before the semester started, she brought her classmates over for fun. Just because they saw Flossie’s awesome skiing, they got infatuated and decided to stay here a few more days.
They were supposed to leave tonight, but something came up, delaying their departure.
But, the delay was so worth it; after wrapping up their business, they saw their "idol"!
So, without hesitation, those few mischievous friends pushed her out.
At least say a few words.
To this, Flossie responded lightly.
In just these few days, aside from people sent by Lucas, there were at least ten others who tried to strike up a conversation with her.
More than half were girls like the one in front of her.
Also, people sent all kinds of snacks.
Flossie even spent quite a bit of her rest time rejecting them.
Even though she’s not familiar with the scene, Flossie has gotten used to it.
"Um, can I ask you something? If it’s inconvenient, you don’t have to answer," the girl stared at Flossie hard, thought for a moment, then cautiously probed, "May I ask, are you a soldier?"
Flossie raised her eyebrows.
Similar suspicions were not few, but more common were suspicions that their group of people were all professional skiers or beginner trainees.
"I just think so, you really seem..." The girl was clearly a bit nervous, paused, then quickly added, "Even your walking posture looks like it."
Flossie chuckled, but didn’t directly answer her question.
"Can we take a picture with you?"
Thinking about it made the girl’s heart leap into her throat.
This was her main motive for rushing over.
"Sorry," Flossie said slowly, "I’m not available."
The girl’s eyes slightly shifted, and she seemed to understand something, immediately opened her eyes wide, "Are you really..."
Flossie shrugged.
Such blatant questions, she definitely wouldn’t admit to.
Otherwise, it would be against the rules.
"Then, then..." The girl suddenly panicked, subconsciously glanced around, then stepped closer to Flossie and whispered, "Are you completing some kind of mission?"
"No," Flossie simply replied, then added, "Just going to Arlington City to have some fun."
"Oh..." The girl nodded in realization.
But, as soon as she nodded down, the girl immediately jumped up from the ground.
Under Flossie’s confused gaze, the girl unsuspectingly rushed towards her, directly grabbed her arm, happily suggesting, "Ah, ah, ah, we’re going to Arlington City tomorrow too, do you want to come with us?!"
Speaking as she jumped up from the ground excitedly.
She couldn’t be more thrilled.
"I have no money."
Flossie calmly said two words.
Instantly, the previously extremely happy girl had her smile frozen, almost in disbelief looking at Flossie.
No... no money?!
After a pause, the girl thought about it, then said, "I haven’t used my allowance; why don’t I buy it for you."
"No need," Flossie raised her hand, placed it on the girl’s shoulder, squinted, and said, "Do you have any temporary job recommendations that pay?"
If you’re a college student...
There should be plenty of ways like that, right?
This was exactly what Flossie had in mind.
"Ah..." The girl opened her mouth, frowned and thought for a while, then suddenly clapped her hands, "Ah, yes, yes, yes!"
