"Well," Winsley Scott scratched his head, not persisting but obediently nodded, "I’ll wait for you."
Janice Wood slightly raised her head, surprise flashed in her eyes, but the moment she met Winsley’s gaze, she quickly looked away. She murmured, "Thank you," nodding slightly.
The two people were so shy that they were nearly dying of embarrassment. Becca Reyes almost laughed at the sight but maintained a serious face as if she knew nothing and shot Flossie Wright a look.
However, Flossie, who had not voiced her opinion from the beginning, glanced at her without responding. After giving Janice Wood a pat on the back, she walked straight into the classroom.
They had wasted a lot of time. They might miss the exam later.
"Hey, wait for me..." Becca Reyes muttered under her breath but her pace did not slow down as she caught up with Flossie Wright.
Not long after, Janice Wood sincerely thanked Winsley Scott and Rowdy Brightwill, then she followed the two and left.
But, one by one, they all left. Clara Birch and Agnes Parker, who were supporting each other, were incredibly displeased.
As they watched each person leave, their anger grew.
This was the first time they’d been treated this way in the military camp. Everyone dismissed them, no one cared about them, everyone acted as if they’d done something terrible. But they were beaten worse, and no one even gave them a sympathetic look. And Flossie, who caused all this, faced no punishment.

Flossie Wright, Becca Reyes, and Janice Wood arrived in the classroom quite late. The exam was already halfway done. Flossie Wright gave her a sidelong glance, then sat down.
She was completely unprepared; her preparation was just for show, and the pen in her hand was borrowed from Janice Wood.
And, the exam covered a lot of content.
