This is the third floor, the view is not very expansive, but you can still see the general outline of the campsite.
It’s not very big here, but there’s no problem accommodating a few hundred people.
Flossie Wright stood for just a moment and saw several wounded being carried in. Among them were soldiers from their country, as well as residents of this place. The stretchers were stained with blood, and the hurried people left light and deep impressions in Flossie’s eyes.
When the game was OVER, Flossie Wright withdrew her gaze.
Just as she had told Iris Dukes and the others, she was not yet an official member of the Peacekeeping Forces, and given her physical condition at the time, she had no interest in volunteering.
It was better to see less blood and casualties.
So, leaving her almost dead smartphone aside, Flossie Wright walked to the bed, turned over, and went straight to sleep.
She didn’t even take off her clothes, just covered herself with the quilt and fell asleep like that.
The weather in November just turned cool here, and though it was still a bit warm under the quilt, Flossie Wright curled up in the bed, not moving even in her deep sleep.
After finishing his tasks, Glenn Hutchinson opened the door, and the first thing he saw was Flossie Wright lying on the bed asleep.
She curled up under the quilt, covering herself tightly, leaving almost no gaps, with only her head sticking out.
She lay sideways, facing the wall, and Glenn Hutchinson could only see her slightly long black hair.
Hesitating for a moment at the doorway, Glenn Hutchinson carefully closed the door and walked softly towards the bed.
As soon as he approached, Flossie Wright shrank into the quilt, muttering unhappily, "It’s so hot."
Hearing that, Glenn Hutchinson chuckled, and asked with a hint of mockery, "Who told you to cover up so tightly?"
Flossie Wright furrowed her brows irritably, seemingly thinking of something, grabbed the corner of the quilt, and yanked it aside.
Glenn Hutchinson was somewhat speechless.
After a pause, he grabbed a little bit of the quilt and covered Flossie Wright’s waist, reminding her, "Cover up a little."
Although Flossie Wright was facing the wall, Glenn Hutchinson, standing there, could tell from her profile how much she had sweated, with even her hair half wet, clearly feeling very hot.
Getting sweaty, she threw off the quilt just like that, which is easy to catch a cold.
"I’m just waking up for five minutes."
Without opening her eyes, Flossie Wright muttered again.
Glenn Hutchinson helplessly stood by and waited for her.
Flossie Wright had only slept for four hours last night, added to the pain from her injuries, she hadn’t rested well. She had just managed to fall asleep, and she was so weary that she couldn’t muster the energy to move, enduring the sweeping drowsiness without any motion.
But with Glenn Hutchinson coming, clearly, she wouldn’t be able to sleep anymore.
It’s not that Glenn Hutchinson intentionally disturbed her, but her long-trained alertness had awoken her the moment Glenn Hutchinson opened the door.
She was just so deep in sleep and physically exhausted that she couldn’t get up immediately.
As for continuing this issue—
Clearly, she’s in pain.
Of course, self-inflicted pain is not something Flossie Wright intended to mention.
Looking at the clock, Glenn Hutchinson lowered his voice, "You can sleep a little more."
Flossie Wright opened her eyes.
Her eyes gradually became clear.
"Have you eaten?" Glenn Hutchinson asked again.
