Regarding military mechanical equipment and combat techniques, Flossie Wright did not have systemdatic training like Sandy Cruz, but she possessed an advantage that others found difficult to achieve—
That was, she had personally experienced it.
As a mercenary, many were ex-soldiers, and among them, special forces were not in short supply.
Whatever Flossie liked or needed, she would strive to master.
They needed advanced weapons, and likewise, they needed to face the combat techniques of the enemy.
Relying solely on brute force was not the way of their Mercenary Corps.
Once she had the knowledge in her head, all Flossie had to do was review the lecture content and prepare herself mentally in advance, and the tests were basically not a problem.
Sandy Cruz was truly a high achiever, being able to highlight the keypoints for exams.
Almost everything he marked was guaranteed to be on the test.
This saved Flossie much more time.
Lights out at twelve.
After skimming through her notebook once again, Flossie saw it was already 11:55.
Jocelyn Carrington was back, though Flossie didn’t know when.
The noise in the hallway had also gradually faded, and now not a single dispute could be heard.
Standing up.
Startled, Becca Reyes looked up and glanced at her.
Flossie nodded her head.
Raising her eyes, Flossie looked through the window, gazing out at the playground.
She had intended to rest her eyes, but with her excellent vision, she caught sight of two very familiar figures.
Calvin Ramos and Cherry Hamilton.
The two stood face to face, speaking about something, with Cherry constantly wiping away tears, sobbing pitifully.
After a thought, Flossie snapped her notebook shut and headed straight for the door.
Becca Reyes opened her mouth to ask what she planned to do, but before the words came out, the door had already closed.
Flossie’s figure was obstructed by the door.
Becca Reyes sighed.
With lights out imminent, she had no idea what Flossie intended to do.
"Becca Reyes."
Jocelyn Carrington rolled around on her bed.
"What’s up?"
Closing her own notebook, Becca Reyes turned halfway toward Jocelyn on the bed.
"When did you come back?"
Propping up her upper body with her elbows, Jocelyn raised an eyebrow at Becca and asked.
They had gone to watch "the show" together.
Thinking it over, Becca said, "Pretty early, I guess."
"You’re not curious about the outcome?" Jocelyn asked, full of curiosity.
"Okay, I’ll ask you," said Becca, "what was the outcome?"
"That thing..."
"No beating around the bush."
Jocelyn huffed, "Don’t interrupt. There wasn’t much in terms of results, just keeping the peace. Neither captain stepped in, and although there was a commotion, they didn’t dare to go too far. In the end, everyone just went back to sleep."
"That’s it?" Becca snorted in amusement.
Crazy stuff! All that secretiveness about nothing.
"Let me finish," Jocelyn said with a slight frown, "When I came back, I saw Calvin Ramos."
Pausing for a moment, Becca managed a wry smile, "...That figures."
His girlfriend was bullied like that; his intervention was to be expected.
"Ahhh, but the problem is—" Jocelyn suddenly sat up, her voice getting louder, "he was just standing on the playground watching, with no intention to help."
"..." Becca was stunned.
Taking a deep breath, Jocelyn declared emphatically, "Becca Reyes, I just want to tell you, Calvin Ramos and Cherry Hamilton might break up!"
