"If you have something to say, say it."
Speaking coldly, Flossie Wright frowned irritably and reached for his fingers.
However, her hand had only risen halfway when Glenn Hutchinson caught it.
Frowning fiercely, Flossie Wright met Glenn Hutchinson’s calm and deep eyes and unconsciously stalled.
"You are a woman," Glenn Hutchinson said, his expression softening slightly, his slow tone like a spring breeze brushing by, "don’t act like a man."
Her expression became slightly stiff, and Flossie Wright found herself at a loss for words.
After seeing Glenn Hutchinson, she indeed acted out of character, and all this abnormal behavior stemmed from her inner contradictions.
During this time, Glenn Hutchinson hadn’t contacted her, and she thought their relationship had ended. Although occasionally picking up her phone, she would subconsciously flip through the contact list, then exit.
She was the one who knew herself best.
She also knew what these unconscious little actions meant.
But, these little emotions had no significant impact on her, and they certainly didn’t disrupt the pace of her life.
She had not expected—
That upon seeing him again, all of her resolve seemed like a joke.
An uncontrollable emotion.
She was just angry at herself.
The fussy behavior she despised the most.
Just thinking about it was frustrating.
"Fine," Flossie Wright stood up, her coat sliding off her shoulders, and looked coldly at Glenn Hutchinson, "I want to sleep now, ’man.’ Shouldn’t you be leaving?"
"I’m not leaving." Hutchinson took a step forward, raising his hand to her rain-soaked hair, "Go change out of your wet clothes."
"I won’t change."
Suppressing her irritation, Flossie Wright turned aside, not wanting to see his face again.
"Flossie Wright!" Glenn Hutchinson frowned, his tone slightly stern.

Flossie Wright simply ignored him and walked straight towards the door.
Helplessly, Glenn Hutchinson reached out, grabbed her wrist, and pulled her in front of him; his other hand rested on her shoulder.
The two stood face to face.
Glenn Hutchinson was soaked through, trying not to touch Flossie Wright too much, with droplets falling from the brim of his hat, clustering on his handsome face, and sliding down his resolute facial lines.
He looked at her, cautiously yet sincerely, "Listen to me."
Flossie Wright knitted her brows as a twinkle flickered in her eyes, something gentle glided across, reaching deep into her gaze.
After a moment, Flossie Wright spoke softly, "Get me some clothes."
Seeing her compromise, Glenn Hutchinson let her go and turned to fetch clothes from the wardrobe.
The clothes Flossie Wright bought were all of a kind, designed for ease of movement—T-shirts, shirts, jackets, coats, jeans, casual pants—hung neatly on lower racks in preparation for the season.
Glenn Hutchinson took a quick look and picked a black long-sleeved T-shirt and a pair of black casual pants.
He swiftly took the two items off the rack and handed them to Flossie Wright.
Taking the clothes, Flossie Wright went out to the balcony.
Soon, Glenn Hutchinson heard the sound of the door closing.
Flossie Wright was quick, taking less than two minutes to change into the new clothes and come out.
Her tall figure clad in casual attire, her short hair hanging down, still dripping with water. As she entered with her hands in her coat pockets, her demeanor was effortlessly calm and different from her stubborn aspect from before.
"Done changing," Flossie Wright leaned on the doorway, glancing up at Glenn Hutchinson with a detached air, issuing the dismissal coldly, "Isn’t it time for you to leave?"
A hint of disappointment passed through his heart, Glenn Hutchinson looked at her, his voice soft, "You go to sleep first."
