Flossie Wright shrugged.
Belinda Nichols glanced at her.
No money for such a large number of copies, it’s going to take quite some time.
"But," Flossie paused and looked at her nonchalantly, "someone has money."
Whoever took the copies would pay, Flossie’s little ordeal wasn’t just for fun.
Belinda pondered for a moment but didn’t think too much about it.
She let her be.
At exactly seven o’clock, the two arrived at classroom 301, and Rowdy Brightwill had already reserved seats for the both of them.
Of course, being from the same place, Rowdy Brightwill didn’t forget about Sandy Cruz either.
Flossie chose a seat near Sandy, so naturally, Belinda ended up sitting between Flossie and Rowdy Brightwill, becoming the third wheel.
Rowdy Brightwill was quite depressed.
Fortunately, during the class, Flossie focused only on listening and didn’t interact much with anyone.
The evening class, from seven to eleven, a solid four hours, was dedicated to one course, reportedly taught by an old professor from the Military Academy, and it was indeed good. At least Sandy listened quite intently.
The notes were still just as many.
For a whole four hours, they kept writing fervently.
The classroom had no heating, and it was already cold, even more so at night. They weren’t dressed warmly, having stayed inactive in the dormitory for a long time. By the end of the class, they were chilled to the bone.
In the end, they could barely hold their pens.
Flossie simply put her pen down.
Focused on listening to the lesson.
"Lend me your notes tomorrow morning."
As soon as class was over, while packing her notebook, Flossie said to Sandy.
"You can borrow mine." Rowdy Brightwill quickly leaned over Belinda and peeked out his head.
"Yours aren’t as detailed as his."
Glancing at him, Flossie said matter-of-factly.
Rowdy Brightwill felt severely crushed.
Flossie withdrew her gaze, not intending to comfort him.
Not pestering Sandy, Flossie packed her things and left with Belinda.
The next day.
Flossie successfully got the copies and Sandy’s notes.
Holding two sets of copies, Flossie handed them all to Sandy.
"What for?"
Taking the two sets of copies, Sandy casually flipped through them, frowning at once.
"I’ve given you the stuff," Flossie said indifferently, "it’s up to you whether you want it."
"Two sets?" Sandy raised an eyebrow.
"I have money to spare."
Flossie replied leisurely.
Sandy gave her a strange look.
Not until he glanced at Mariana Buck sitting in the front row did he finally understand.
There were still ten minutes before class started.
Sandy stood up, carrying a copy of notes, and walked over to Mariana.
The two exchanged a few quiet words, but their focus remained on Flossie’s figure the whole time.
Flossie looked utterly bewildered.
Soon after, Sandy handed over the copies and came back.
"She said thank you."
As he sat back down, Sandy said lightly to her.
Flossie rubbed her forehead.
This guy is beyond help.
Sandy didn’t notice her slightly darkened expression.
After flipping through the prints, he set the notes aside, "There’s a problem with the notes."
Flossie returned to normal and raised an eyebrow at him.
"Too much unnecessary stuff."
