Flossie Wright stood upright in the middle of the classroom.
Vincent Field and Belinda Nichols were blocking in front of her, but that didn’t stop Joshua Bailey from seeing Flossie Wright.
Her expression was calm, composed, and her gaze, which fell directly upon him, inexplicably carried a hint of inquiry.

What did she want to do?
This was the first thought that came to Joshua Bailey’s mind.
But, having been called out, he couldn’t pretend nothing happened.
So, Joshua Bailey thought for a moment, then said, "Come with me for a moment."
Flossie Wright responded firmly and powerfully.
"Walk slow, lights out, doors shut."
Standing by the doorway, Joshua Bailey instructed those inside and then disappeared at the door.
Those who didn’t know Joshua Bailey’s character, especially Vincent Field, were extremely nervous as they watched Flossie Wright.
As if Flossie Wright would come back missing an arm or a leg as soon as Joshua Bailey called her out.
"You go first."
Flossie Wright instructed Belinda Nichols.
Belinda Nichols nodded.
Without lingering, Flossie Wright collected the notebook from Sandy Cruz and handed it to Belinda Nichols before walking straight to the door outside.
Joshua Bailey waited for her in the hallway, but instead of rushing to speak, he silently walked ahead.
Flossie Wright followed behind him.
In no time, they had reached outside the dormitory building alongside Joshua Bailey.
Meanwhile, Joshua Bailey finally thought of a topic.
"Tomorrow’s rowing competition, you’re the captain, has the team’s mission been assigned?"
Walking half a step ahead, Joshua Bailey did not look at Flossie Wright, but spoke with an inscrutable expression.
Flossie Wright glanced at him.
Did he specifically seek her out just for something so trivial?
With someone like Joaquin around, Joshua Bailey didn’t need to come to her for this. It was obvious he was just trying to start a conversation.
Flossie Wright responded indifferently.
"Oh," Joshua Bailey paused, looked at her thoughtfully, "What’s this about making copies?"
"Incomplete notes." Flossie Wright responded impassively.
As a conversation ender, each of her responses left Joshua Bailey unable to continue.
Of course, he knew that Flossie Wright had asked a fellow student to print copies of class notes for distribution to some friends.
This willingness to share, in a competitive environment like this, was extremely rare.
Thus, both professors and instructors chose to turn a blind eye, as if nothing had happened.
When he asked deliberately, Flossie Wright shut him down with a single sentence.
So, Joshua Bailey stopped procrastinating, hesitated for a moment, then took a step back and directly asked Flossie Wright, "Is Vincent Field pursuing you?"
Flossie Wright lazily glanced at him.
For some reason, Joshua Bailey suddenly felt a chill slide across his forehead.
"Do you want to chase?"
With a slight curl of her lips, Flossie Wright asked as if she very much cared.
Joshua Bailey immediately denied, his tone suddenly becoming urgent.
Pausing slightly, Joshua Bailey looked at Flossie Wright very sincerely and genuinely, and with an extremely solemn tone said, "Comrade Flossie Wright, no matter who I chase, it won’t be you, don’t worry!"
Flossie Wright stopped and slanted a glance at him.
A joke of a question, did he take it seriously?
However, later Flossie Wright found out, it wasn’t that he took it seriously, but that he was afraid of his own captain.
