"Will you add him?"
Pausing, Jocelyn Carrington asked Becca Reyes.
"Add Captain Hutchinson?" Becca Reyes was surprised.
"You’re not also setting your sights on Captain Hutchinson, are you?"
"Never thought about it, he’s out of my league." Jocelyn Carrington responded, quite frankly, "Just a bit curious, that’s all."
"Don’t know if he’ll accept."
"Just give it a shot."
"Well, let’s try it."
Leaving the dormitory building, Flossie Wright found a tree and logged into her email through her mobile phone.
She was only trying it out with an experimental mindset.
Unexpectedly, a new email had arrived a week ago.
The sender name was still three words — Calvin Ramos.
Opening the new email, Flossie Wright saw content that was starkly different from before.
The previous data were very ordinary, depicting a normal life, but this time, Calvin’s different experiences were laid out clearly.
She spent more than ten minutes reading the email, which was no more than three thousand words.
She read carefully, word by word, sentence by sentence.
The cool breeze blew, and by the time she finished reading the last word, Flossie’s fingers were icy cold.
Taking a deep breath, she moved her fingers and deleted the email.
Then, she dialed a familiar number.
"Who’s this?"
In just a moment, a simple, cold voice came from the other end of the phone.
Flossie responded.
Pausing, Perry Reed asked, "Are you free?"
"Then I’ll hang up."
Flossie’s mouth twitched.
The next moment, the call was disconnected.
However, before Flossie could put away her phone, another call came in.
She hesitated for a bit, and then picked up the call.
"I’m free."
Quickly, the voice on the other end came through, with a few traces of domineering gone.
Slightly startled, Flossie was choked up by this childish act.
Ignoring her silence, Perry Reed asked, "What’s the matter?"
Regaining her composure, Flossie casually said, "I’ve seen Calvin Ramos’s information."
"...Calvin Ramos."
"The one you asked me to investigate?"
Perry Reed apparently didn’t take this name seriously.
"Hmm," Flossie leaned back slightly against the tree, "Just wanted to say thanks."
"No need." His response was sharp.
"Nothing else, I’ll hang up first."
After a pause, Perry Reed’s voice was low and forceful, "When are you free?"
"I’ll contact you when I am," Flossie said, adding, "I remember."
After saying that, she hung up.
After putting away her phone, Flossie looked around, then headed straight across.
The men’s dormitory building.
For their group of new recruits, there was no strict rule against entering the opposite gender’s dormitory, but normally, everyone chose to stay away.
So when Flossie walked into the building without hiding her presence...
It caused instant chaos.
At this time, some people were still napping. Flossie walked from the first floor, either pushing open the dorm doors or knocking on them, startling the sleeping men into cursing.
Knocking on doors across an entire floor, she still didn’t see the person she wanted to see. Then she ran into someone familiar at the staircase heading to the second floor.
"Come here."
Flossie caught the person’s shoulder.
With a firm grip, she held him fast, and he couldn’t shake her off.
