"Shall we eat together?"
Stuart Weston invited enthusiastically.
Instinctively wanting to refuse, Becca Reyes glanced at Flossie Wright and Belinda Nichols, only to be shocked to find they had taken up just two seats.
Suddenly, she had the illusion of an old lover about to be snatched away by a mistress.
Becca Reyes was hugely embarrassed.

"Fine, let’s eat together."
With a sigh, Becca Reyes waved her hand dejectedly.
Stuart Weston immediately nodded, grinning more brilliantly than ever.
It was always Flossie Wright who understood him, creating opportunities for them everywhere.
After the meal, everyone returned to the dormitory.
Soon after, Nancy Phillips and Ciara Clark arrived, blowing their whistles to assemble all the female soldiers.
While the female soldiers were gathering, Nathan Foster and Drake Easton also arrived at the male soldiers’ dormitory building, their shrill whistles summoning the group of young people about to become frogmen, bustling out from the corridors.
Each person was carrying their luggage.
When it truly came time to leave, the previous joy and excitement filling their hearts seemed to dissipate a great deal.
They had been here for at least three months, some even for six.
No matter what, they had formed some attachments.
Now, as they left, the two dormitory buildings were completely empty, waiting for the next batch of candidates.
There were feelings of reflection, and a little sadness.
However, this faint mood completely disappeared when the two groups saw their new dormitory buildings.
Male and female soldiers, naturally took possession of two territories.
The dormitory buildings were also separate.
But, the official frogmen’s dormitory building was completely different from where they had been living before.
The stark white building had four floors in total.
All rooms were uniform four-person rooms.
Compared with their previous living conditions, it was like going from a refugee camp.
Once led there, everyone assembled in front of the building.
"Now for the new dormitory assignments."
Ciara Clark, with a list in hand, looked quite serious.
As of today, they were no longer instructors, but having trained them for many days, their residual authority was still present; several of the female soldiers were quite afraid of the two of them.
"Dolly Campbell, Sisca Williams, Grace Turner, room 306."
"Flossie Wright, Jessie Grain, Mariana Buck, Belinda Nichols, room 307."
"Becca Reyes, Teddy Miar, room 308."
"Rainey Johnson, Carline Brook, room 309."
In less than two minutes, all 19 names were called.
Most were full of anticipation; a few, like Flossie Wright and Belinda Nichols, were expressionless; but only Becca Reyes—
The only one assigned to a different dormitory, Becca Reyes had a face as long as a fiddle, unable to muster any enthusiasm.
From the time she arrived at the cooking class, Becca Reyes had shared a dormitory with Flossie Wright, together for six whole months. Although she was not overly clingy, being separated now was unavoidably disappointing to her.
"Alright, go inside."
Glancing over everyone, Nancy Phillips spoke in a subdued tone.
Soon after, the line of people began to ascend to the dormitory building.
All the new soldiers were assigned to the third floor.
However, new soldiers weren’t all placed together; aside from the room of Flossie Wright and her group, the other new soldiers’ rooms had at least one veteran soldier.
Jessie Grain was the first to push open the door.
One by one, the four entered.
The sight of the brand new, clean dormitory greeted them.
No upper or lower bunks, all beds were on top, with a complete set of desk, bookshelf, and wardrobe connected underneath—hardly different from a university dormitory.
