The scene was filled with that panicked crowd.
Flossie Wright glanced at them indifferently, then put away the sniper rifle and left her previous hiding spot.
The sniper rifle was wiped clean of all traces, then dismantled and placed back where she had picked it up.
Then, the job was done and she left.
In the darkness of the night, under the moonlight, her figure disappeared at the edge of the jungle.
Along the way, she did not see any trace of Adelaide.
Flossie Wright came down from the mountain and met Glenn Hutchinson waiting on the road.
Dressed all in black, he stood by the roadside, his tall figure casting a long shadow in the moonlight.
Beside him, there was a black car parked.
As her view widened, Flossie caught sight of this figure and instantly halted.
She hadn’t expected Glenn Hutchinson to follow her here.

"Come over."
Glenn Hutchinson’s cold voice rang out.
Pausing slightly, Flossie showed no change in her expression, yet felt a slight unease inside as she walked step by step toward Glenn Hutchinson.
She finally stopped when she reached him.
Glenn Hutchinson stood before her like a straight pine tree, his height imposing.
Flossie looked at him calmly.
Her heart was slightly stirred, but her demeanor remained composed.
Glancing at Flossie, Glenn Hutchinson asked in a stern voice, "Are you hurt?"
"No." Flossie answered each word distinctly.
With a slight pause, Glenn Hutchinson withdrew his gaze and said directly, "Get in the car."
Giving him a glance, Flossie frowned, then opened the car door and sat in the passenger seat.
Soon after, Glenn Hutchinson got in from the other side and sat down beside her.
Starting the car, they drove away along the winding road.
The two remained silent.
After just a few minutes, Flossie heard the sirens of a police car whizzing toward them, soon passing by their car.
Taking note of the route, Flossie furrowed her brows, having vaguely guessed a few things.
It seemed Glenn Hutchinson had picked up some clues when switching cars, but did not notify the police, instead, he followed to the destination. Only after their battle ended, did he call the police to notify them.
"Do you know what you’re doing?"
With the interior lights off, Glenn Hutchinson’s cool voice fell into Flossie’s ears in the darkness.
Flossie answered frankly.
"If discovered, do you know the consequences?" Glenn Hutchinson’s tone was devoid of fluctuation.
"Yes." Flossie repeated the two words.
Although on vacation, she was still a soldier, and as a soldier, doing something against orders while on a mission was essentially defying military directives.
She had killed someone.
Of course, the other party deserved it, with their crimes well-documented.
The source of the weapon alone was enough to render her speechless in defense.
How did she become involved with an assassin?
Why did the assassin help her?
Not being in the Forces and acquiring weapons privately, how would she explain that?
This was likely why Glenn Hutchinson did not allow her to encounter the police.
If discovered, Flossie would undoubtedly be thoroughly investigated by the military, and at that point, it would be much more than just leaving the Forces.
The reason Flossie was willing to confide in Glenn Hutchinson was because she trusted him.
