Thus, after worrying anxiously, Abram Phillips received the news of Flossie Wright’s safe arrival on the coast with a sigh of relief. But after calming down, there was more fear of what had happened, which made him feel stifled and failed to vent his fury.
However, when he approached Flossie Wright with a gloomy face, his first notice was the two bars and two stars on Glenn Hutchinson’s shoulder. He was caught off guard with a slight start, and then, when he noticed Glenn Hutchinson’s face, all his rage suddenly vanished without a trace. A rare anxiety and fear emerged on his usually calm face. In that moment, he was just like a regular soldier encountering the sternest and most terrifying instructor.
Abram Phillips promptly stood up straight and saluted Glenn Hutchinson in a standard manner.
"Captain Hutchinson!"
Before Abram Phillips could finish speaking, the crowd suddenly let out surprised sounds of doubt. Women who had just followed them subconsciously looked at the cold Glenn Hutchinson. However, with that one casual glance, their eyes were sitting squarely on him.
There are not many truly handsome men in the forces. Most rely on tough demeanour. Rowdy Brightwill’s good looks were enough to go against the heavens. He could conquer all the female soldiers in the new recruit group with just his face if he were to be in the entertainment circle.
However, the man in front of them lacked the ruggedness of the other male soldiers in the forces, but did not lack awe-inspiring toughness. His entire aura was stern and calm. Moreover, with the military uniform, this man enthralled their hearts. This attracted many girls’ hearts with only his aura. Not to mention his handsome face, which left almost all the female soldiers muddled.
This is a real soldier!
"Hmm." Glenn Hutchinson briefly answered and his gaze lingered on Abram Phillips for a moment before naturally withdrawing.
Flossie Wright, who was resting on the beach, sympathised with Abram Phillips. Hutchinson had completely forgotten who he was judging from the look on his face.
Abram Phillips’ mind cooled down a little as he looked at Glenn Hutchinson with a little doubt. "What are you doing here?"

Rowdy Brightwill, standing on the side, couldn’t help but sigh as he watched. He had heard Abram Phillips boast about his brave attempts to join a special forces selection, which became his talk even though he was not selected.
Now, seeing Abram Phillips treating Glenn Hutchinson so warmly, he guessed what was going on.
"Just passing by." Glenn Hutchinson answered very concisely, immediately implying with a meaningful glance at Flossie Wright.
After a pause, Abram Phillips’s momentarily short-circuited brain finally reconnected. If his guess was right, Glenn Hutchinson was the one who had just jumped off the helicopter and he had rescued Flossie Wright, who was drowning because of cramps.
At first, Abram Phillips bore a great grudge against Flossie Wright, but he also had no plans to punish Flossie Wright after seeing Glenn Hutchinson. Her reason was acceptable as long as she was safe.
Abram Phillips nodded awkwardly, wondering what to do in front of the man who made him experience countless times the taste of hell, feeling all at odds, as if everything he said was wrong.
"Since everyone is okay, we should all head back," Rowdy Brightwill, who had been watching, finally intervened and pulled Abram Phillips out of his awkwardness. "It’s time for dinner."
"Yes, yes." Abram Phillips immediately agreed, then turned to Glenn Hutchinson and asked, "Captain Hutchinson, would you like to join us for dinner?"
"Not necessary, I have something else to do."
"Okay, we won’t disturb you then."
They still had to leave, especially since this was not a place where one could be willful.
Most of the ones on the beach were female soldiers. Those soldiers, who were charmed by Glenn Hutchinson’s handsome military attire, left reluctantly, their hearts pounding like those of young girls.
Sitting at the back on purpose, Flossie Wright stood up slowly, brushed the sand off her body, and followed the rest of the group, her eyes focused on the two figures emerging from the horizon.
"Here’s your thing back."
Accompanying Flossie’s negligent voice, a silver arc shot through the air, reflecting a dazzling light against the bright sunlight.
Glenn Hutchinson slightly knitted his brows, raised his hand, and caught the metal object. His gaze followed Flossie Wright’s retreating figure. Her slender shape continued at a steady pace, unaffected by everything that had happened.
As the corners of his mouth curled up slightly, a faint smile appeared in his captivating eyes that reflected the metal piece in his hand.
