As for whether they are innocent...
It’s not within Flossie Wright’s consideration.
Often, the more you think, the more you worry.
"I, I’ll talk."
The villager reluctantly conceded, dropping the hoe in his hand.
At the same time, Flossie’s finger moved slightly, retracting the gun.
Simultaneously, she walked to the girl’s side and picked up the gun and the military knife, the two watched as the weapons once again fell into her hands.
After Flossie retrieved the weapons and walked a certain distance away, the villager finally relaxed a bit and went over to his daughter.
"Waaaah..."
The girl finally reacted, throwing herself into the villager’s arms and bursting into tears.
Flossie pressed the bridge of her nose with a bit of a headache.
She thought for a bit and still gave them a minute.
After a minute, she forcibly separated the two and interrogated the villager.
With his daughter as leverage, the villager finally became honest, not daring to mix lies into his words.
The villager spent all day wandering around the village, chopping wood, heard little but saw much, making him rather informed.
A few days ago, a group of strangers indeed came to the village, brought back by the revolutionaries, each looking fierce and tough, with one noticeable leader, undoubtedly Andrew.
The revolutionaries arranged for their accommodation, and the villager described the exact locations to Flossie.
After finishing these main questions, Flossie asked him some details about the revolutionaries, like their specific forces and weapons, which the villager didn’t understand much, and as he gradually calmed down, he learned to be evasive in his answers.
During his responses, the information was all over the place, half true and half false, mixed together. Flossie only believed the truth, filtering out the lies, but the final information wasn’t much.
After getting information from the villager, the sky was nearly dark.
Flossie intended to leave.
Things don’t always go as planned.
Just after finishing the interrogation, the large door of the courtyard was pounded heavily from outside.
It was a dilapidated door, and the way it was being slammed gave off a precarious sense, as if it could be knocked down at any moment.
"Go and see it."
Flossie flicked out the gun again, raised an eyebrow, and ordered the villager.
The villager responded in a flustered manner.
Meanwhile, Flossie grabbed the girl’s shoulder, dragging her into the bedroom.
Perhaps frightened by Flossie, the girl was tense all over, not daring to move a muscle when close to Flossie, but Flossie could clearly see the intense hatred in her eyes.
Flossie pretended not to see it.
Leaning against the door, listening to the commotion outside.
The rain outside was heavy, initially, she could hear two voices shouting, vaguely hearing the villager’s reply, but after a while, their voices faded, leaving Flossie unable to discern anything clear.
After a while, Flossie helplessly furrowed her brows.
Really...

Not looking to stir up trouble.
But the increasingly close footsteps confirmed to her——
No choice but to take action!
"Bang bang bang——"
The next moment, the bedroom door was pounded fiercely.
