Glenn Hutchinson spoke lightly.
With a slight droop of her gaze, Flossie Wright paused for two seconds, quickly pulling a chair to her side before sitting down.
"What’s the matter?"

Staring expressionlessly at Flossie Wright, Glenn Hutchinson asked calmly.
Nothing happens without a reason.
Flossie Wright was a typical example of that.
Late at night, with Flossie’s personality, she could bring snacks to find Sandy Cruz or even Rowdy Brightwill, but she would never come to him.
She always avoided him.
Slightly squinting, Flossie Wright appeared relaxed, leaning against the back of the chair, looking at him indifferently.
"There is something." Flossie Wright stated clearly.
"If it’s for someone else," Glenn Hutchinson looked back at Flossie, emphasizing each word, "you don’t need to say it."
The words fell.
The temperature in the office suddenly dropped a bit.
Flossie Wright lifted her eyes slightly, her lips curled up lightly, yet her expression grew more indifferent.
Their gazes locked, one probing, the other holding firm.
Glenn Hutchinson refused to compromise on this point.
No need to say, Flossie specifically came to him for Perry Reed.
She wouldn’t ask him to do too much, but at the very least, she would ask him to turn a blind eye and not investigate Perry Reed.
She clearly knew that Perry Reed had come here fully prepared, yet she couldn’t stop worrying about him, so she came specifically to find him.
Thinking of this, Glenn Hutchinson felt a surge of anger; how could he possibly just compromise?
After a moment.
"Then there’s nothing else."
With a slight movement of her gaze, Flossie Wright stood up from the chair.
"Goodbye, Instructor Hutchinson."
Raising her fingers to press the brim of her hat, Flossie lowered her eyes to look at Glenn Hutchinson, her lips curling into an elusive smile.
The long fingers, under the flowing incandescent light, appeared incredibly attention-grabbing.
"Flossie Wright!"
Watching Flossie turn directly away, Glenn Hutchinson furrowed his brow tightly, calling her name coldly.
Stopping her steps, Flossie Wright turned her head, her gaze sweeping over him.
Glenn Hutchinson stood up, walked around the desk, and headed straight towards Flossie Wright.
He only stopped when he reached Flossie’s side.
Flossie Wright was nearly a head shorter than him; he had to lower his head to see her.
Looking down on her from above, but this apparent disadvantage to Flossie was hardly noticeable; her composed and calm demeanor had never shown any retreat.
"Something to say?"
Slightly lifting her gaze, Flossie Wright asked unperturbed.
"Aside from him, is there nothing else?"
Glued to Flossie Wright, Glenn Hutchinson’s voice was deep and magnetic, slow yet extremely penetrating.
"Oh, there is," Flossie raised an eyebrow, her expression relaxed, seemingly intrigued as she asked, "What’s the story behind that Josie?"
"Air Force Captain, injured on a mission, came later."
With a slight frown, Glenn Hutchinson spoke truthfully.
Narrowing her eyes, Flossie Wright’s smile became increasingly mysterious.
If Glenn Hutchinson and the others valued Josie highly, it was understandable to give Josie special treatment, but starting as a squad leader upon arrival...
Jessie Grain was also a three-stripe frogman from the marines, a sniper with numerous battle honors and impressive credentials, yet she didn’t receive special treatment.
Josie didn’t have anything special, so why was she able to make the other female soldiers willingly follow her?
Of course, regardless of how Josie handled her role, as long as she didn’t cause trouble for Flossie, Flossie naturally wouldn’t interfere, but since Glenn Hutchinson asked...
