She had never intended to intervene between Becca Reyes and Calvin Ramos. Her expressing concern today was merely because she was somewhat wary of Calvin. If Becca could keep some distance from Calvin, that would be for the best.
But under current circumstances, that seemed improbable.

Some people would endure a bloody collision before they learned the pain and knew when to withdraw.
As long as it didn’t concern life or death, even if they turn the sky upside down, Flossie Wright would ignore them.
When she returned to the previous gathering site, Flossie and the group had nearly reached a silent agreement. Without discussing anything, they just packed up their stuff and tried to move as far away from the area where the gunfight had just occurred.
In this world, nothing is absolute. In theory, they should be moving away from the search area. But there may be exceptions, and while they didn’t have complete assurance, they made sure they were as close to certainty as possible.
This was a lesson they had learned from Flossie during these days. When implementing any plans, try to eliminate potential mishaps as much as possible, unless you really need to take risks.
This did not seem to suit Flossie’s character, but it was something essential to learn on the battlefield.
For the entire night, they only slept for two hours during dawn.
Then came the second day of concealment and guerrilla warfare. Their targets were random this time, purposely confusing the enemy to baffle the Blue Army.
It wasn’t until that night, after causing chaos around the island and involving many red-team squads, that they finally ceased their aimless attacks. They quietly approached the Blue Army’s stronghold in the central island.
According to the plan, they split into two groups. Throughout, Becca accepted calmly, without a trace of anxiety or complaint. Even before they separated, she had given Flossie and Calvin a thumbs-up gesture for encouragement.
"You don’t seem to worry at all."
In the grassy mound, Calvin sat next to Flossie. As he observed the Blue Army’s stronghold through a telescope, he nonchalantly said to Flossie.
Narrowing her eyes slightly, Flossie was leisurely cleaning her sniper rifle. Without lifting her head, she coldly replied, "Likewise."
Calvin put down his binoculars and turned to take a look at Flossie. Her focused look while cleaning her gun aroused a spark of amusement in his eyes, which then disappeared quickly. He retract his gaze and didn’t speak anymore.
Daylight faded, but the sounds of insects and birds in the jungle became more evident. A faint light was lit in the stronghold. From time to time, patrolling silhouettes were visible under the bright moonlight, fully exposed to their view.
"I am going to nap." After cleaning her gun and changing the magazine, Flossie told Calvin and paused before adding, "You don’t need to watch."
After all, she wasn’t stone-hearted. She could’ve ignored Calvin’s condition, but she knew that he hadn’t had much rest since the previous night. If he stayed awake until dawn, it could affect his alertness, which would be more harm than good.
Anyway, their current location was well-hidden. As long as they didn’t make a noise, others wouldn’t discover them for a while.
However, it was more dangerous for Becca and Stuart Weston’s side. They had to climb over a cliff to infiltrate from the rear of the stronghold which could be quite challenging at such late hours. But Flossie had let them go and had a certain degree of confidence in them.
