Utterly crushed.
A trainee still in selection with better sword skills than them?
How are they supposed to handle this!
Belinda Nichols and Flossie Wright, under Glenn Hutchinson’s leadership, left the kitchen.
However, it wasn’t long before Glenn Hutchinson stopped.
Belinda Nichols and Flossie Wright also halted their steps.
Glenn, who was in front, turned around, waved to someone nearby, and beckoned that person over.
The person trotted over quickly.
"Captain, what’s up?"
The man asked Glenn Hutchinson.
With a slight frown, Glenn Hutchinson pointed at Belinda and calmly said, "Take her over there."
The person blinked, seemingly unsure, and asked, "Over there?"
Glenn Hutchinson affirmed, without a doubt.
"Alright," the person nodded readily, and then looked at Belinda, "Please, come this way with me."
Belinda gave her a chilling glance.
The person felt an onslaught of murderous intent and a cold front confronting them, but they managed not to show any sign of backing down, having a certain psychological quality.
"Please, come this way with me."
The person repeated firmly.
Finally, following a hint from Flossie Wright, Belinda’s furrowed brows relaxed a bit, and then she stepped forward to meet the person.
The person chuckled and swiftly led the way up front.
Soon, on the small road, only Glenn Hutchinson and Flossie Wright remained.
"Is there anything else?"
Because of the cold, Flossie Wright put her hands in her pockets, and asked Glenn unhurriedly.
She had not expected Glenn Hutchinson to know she would come to the cafeteria, nor to be so even-tempered, simply "catching her in the act" and also inadvertently dragging Belinda into it.
Although she didn’t hate Glenn Hutchinson for this, his "shameless" behavior did make Flossie Wright become vigilant.
Glenn Hutchinson lowered his gaze to check the watch on his wrist.
Quickly, he lowered his hand and his gaze landed on Flossie Wright.
"We have ten minutes left," Glenn Hutchinson said flatly.
"Midnight?" Flossie raised an eyebrow.
"Oh," Flossie realized, somewhat amused yet keeping a composed face, "It’s late, the Dormitory should be lights out by now."
Saying this, she intended to leave.
Glenn Hutchinson’s lips curled into a smile, he raised his right hand and circled around in front of Flossie Wright, then rested his hand on her shoulder.
Effectively blocking Flossie’s way out.
"What do you want to do?"
Flossie asked him, rather impatiently, without arguing.
Glenn Hutchinson furrowed his brows.
Before he could speak, the buzzing sound of a vibrating phone could be heard.
It was the phone Flossie Wright carried with her.
She had intended to call Becca Reyes but had forgotten.
When Flossie Wright checked her phone, indeed the contact name "Becca Reyes" was there.
Flossie glanced up, meeting Glenn Hutchinson’s displeased look, but instead of doing as he wished, she swiped the screen and answered the call.
Glenn Hutchinson took the cue to let go of her.
"Flossie?" As soon as she answered, Becca Reyes’ probing voice came through the phone.
Flossie responded.
"Thank heavens, you finally answered the phone," Becca Reyes exclaimed with a sigh of relief, and couldn’t help muttering, "You little ancestor, you don’t know how many times I’ve called. Trying to call you is harder than anything."
