"There are other bombs."
Glenn Hutchinson’s voice came through the earpiece.
This was the channel used by Aaron Doom’s people, so initially, only Aaron Doom’s people were stunned. Following that, the SWAT successfully relayed the information, causing the SWAT officers interrogating the suspect to suddenly stop their actions.
"What’s the exact situation?" Flossie Wright asked, frowning.
After a pause, Glenn Hutchinson explained the situation roughly.
The SWAT used some methods to extract the information from the mouth of the terrorist initially captured.
There were a total of eleven terrorists. They had already captured two, with nine others scattered in two different locations. The bomb at the Shopping Centre was merely a distraction to grab their attention; it didn’t matter whether it exploded or not. Their target was the other two locations.
To them, this might be an extremely normal ritual.
However, for this city, it was an unexpected crisis.
The two locations hiding bombs had yet to be extracted, but knowing this information had changed the mindset of the special forces and SWAT.
Facing the Shopping Centre, they had the most complete preparation, professional detection equipment, professional bomb experts. Now the bombs had been found, the remote control had been taken, and disarming the bomb was only a matter of time. Their only worry was that something might go wrong during the disarming process.
Even if something went wrong, all the civilians had been evacuated, so apart from those risking their lives to disarm the bomb, there would be no other casualties.
This was Flossie Wright’s first time participating in such a mission.
It wasn’t merely about killing or merely about reclaiming something, but finding a few terrorists with dangerous bombs in such a crowded place.
Flossie Wright had saved people before, but it was always casually. Now, she had to make this her goal to stop this terrorist action.
This sudden goal made Flossie Wright feel a little unfamiliar, yet surprisingly not resistant.
When she decided to stay with Aaron Doom, she was mentally prepared for this kind of situation.
For instance, the elderly woman she just met, or the sudden surge of pressure and responsibility now.
"What about the time?" Flossie Wright asked.
"Six o’clock."
Glenn Hutchinson said slowly.
Flossie Wright instinctively lowered her head to check her watch, 3:55.
There were two hours left.
What she could think of, Glenn Hutchinson could think of too, so Flossie Wright didn’t waste words with Glenn Hutchinson, directly representing all the members of Aaron Doom to inquire about the next plan.
The bomb disarming process was smooth. If left undisturbed, it should be successfully disarmed. So, the only plan left was basically to locate the other two bomb hiding spots.
SWAT sent a team to interrogate the two captives, while the traffic police also successfully tracked down a vehicle they commonly used. Then, based on surveillance from various streets, they traced the vehicle’s travel records and extracted the appearances of all 11 individuals through various subtle frames.
Then, a new round of monitoring on these people’s whereabouts began.
All departments cooperated quickly, and the members of Aaron Doom were also grouped for different tasks.
Glenn Hutchinson divided Aaron Doom’s people into three groups.
Aaron Doom sent four snipers, Flossie Wright, Jessie Grain, Dallion Collins, and Jullian Rankin. Dallion Collins and Jessie Grain followed one group, Jullian Rankin followed another, while Flossie Wright was with Glenn Hutchinson’s group.
The other two groups were always on standby, and Flossie Wright followed Glenn Hutchinson’s group, which included Jude Marsh and Dylan Murray, forming a four-person team acting together with a troop of SWAT.
"I seem to stand out quite a bit."
Walking beside Glenn Hutchinson, Flossie Wright crossed her arms, holding the sniper, and spoke lazily.
Glenn Hutchinson glanced around, noticing the occasional glances he received. His solemn expression softened a bit, "You should be."
The fact that Flossie Wright was female was enough to catch others’ attention.
Moreover, because of her, they managed to capture two terrorists continuously and extract some information, or else they would’ve been ignorant and perhaps accomplished nothing, possibly even causing a massive man-made disaster while complacent.
At the very least, they were prepared now.
However, with so many men here, and the only two captured terrorists were led by a woman, it was unavoidable for them to discuss.
