Thinking about this, Dixon Garrison thought back to his badly damaged computer, it truly was frustrating.
After teasing Rowdy Brightwill, he clapped his hands, sat down across from Sandy Cruz, looked at the computer that had returned to its original state, and gave Sandy a cheerful look, "Wanna go?"
Sandy Cruz replied casually.
Dixon Garrison, not as skilled, gave Sandy a sharp look and left dejectedly.
Willie Ash pondered over and over, still unsure about the truth in Rowdy Brightwill’s words, and eventually left too.
"In terms of computers, who’s better between you and Dylan Murray?"
Opening the gaming software, Rowdy Brightwill’s eyes rolled thoughtfully as he asked Sandy Cruz.
After finishing a steamed bun, Sandy Cruz tossed the other steamed buns to Rowdy Brightwill and said sternly, "Don’t know."
Different areas of expertise—he and Dylan Murray researched different directions, so there was no comparison. Computers were just their base; in theory, they surpassed Dixon Garrison, who was professionally trained, but it wasn’t considered a major achievement.
And as for Dixon Garrison, who was professionally trained yet looked down upon like this, if he knew what Sandy Cruz was thinking, he probably would have cursed Sandy’s ancestors all over.
So what if you’re a genius, geniuses look down on people?!
Listening to Sandy Cruz’s casual response, Rowdy Brightwill rubbed his nose and didn’t pursue the matter further.
Comparing here and there, it really isn’t interesting.
"When are they having the banquet?" The atmosphere had gone silent for a couple of seconds, and then Sandy Cruz asked.
"Don’t know. Uncle Wright told me they’re planning to have a lively event with the Forces, and then a formal one at home. The dates aren’t set yet," Rowdy Brightwill answered truthfully, looking more relaxed than expected.
Having already accepted the reality, Rowdy Brightwill had anticipated this step and didn’t feel particularly strong emotions, even thinking it’s quite nice for Flossie Wright to settle down.
"Oh," Sandy Cruz nodded faintly.
"What do you intend to do?" Rowdy Brightwill sensed Sandy Cruz’s concern and felt something was off.
"Just curious."
Sandy Cruz glanced sideways at him.
"Just that?" Rowdy Brightwill asked, suspiciously watching him.
Under Rowdy Brightwill’s intense gaze, Sandy Cruz frowned and said straight away, "Thinking about what knife to gift her."
A longer timeline would increase the chances of finding a good knife.
Anyways, Flossie Wright likes knives, and someone like Sandy Cruz who avoids trouble has already decided to gift Flossie a knife for any big celebration.
Rowdy Brightwill suddenly understood, then couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
Sandy Cruz looked at him, puzzled.
"Well, that’s rather coincidental," Rowdy Brightwill shrugged, "I was thinking the same."
Sandy Cruz looked at him and suddenly had a premonition that on the day of Flossie Wright’s banquet, she’ll receive multiple "menacing knives."
The distance from Aaron Base to the city is quite far, Glenn Hutchinson and Flossie Wright spent the whole day mostly driving and standing in lines.
When the two returned, seeing numerous ambiguous looks, they pretty much figured out what was happening.
Clearly, the news has spread.
Flossie Wright didn’t mind at all and directed Glenn Hutchinson to move things from her old dormitory, openly moving all her belongings to Glenn’s dormitory.
During this time, many people offered to help, but Flossie’s half-amused expression drove everyone away.
There’s only so much stuff, these people weren’t sincerely trying to help—they just wanted to join in the excitement.
