Glenn Hutchinson?
She wasn’t so infatuated with a man she’d only met once that she’d go mad targeting or annoying the woman he liked.
That would be too boring.
She wasn’t in love to that extent.
Silvery, oh Silvery...
She slightly bowed her head, and Ailin Miller laughed softly, an unvoiced madness.
Silvery, you never knew, the one person who drove her mad was only you.
With you here, what other man could catch her eye?
The force on her chin unconsciously increased, Ailin felt the prickling pain, but the smile on her lips grew even broader.
Targeting Flossie Wright, annoying Flossie Wright, was merely because she had once won your heart.
Who would’ve thought!
Even if there was no harm meant in targeting her, even if it just made Flossie Wright frown, or feel the slightest bit uncomfortable, even if she was doing it under the guise of liking Glenn Hutchinson, Silvery would still choose to stand by Flossie’s side!
She wouldn’t even let her suffer any distress!
So, in her wanton laughter, there was an unexpected ferocity.
Upon seeing Perry Reed again, Flossie Wright didn’t inquire about DARK’s mission.
Not having to go out on business today, Flossie seemed a bit unsettled.
Perry Reed somehow procured a chess set, and the two played all morning.
Flossie was utterly defeated, her formations and moves a complete mess.
Mr. Perry patiently played with her until noon, and finally, Flossie, with a sullen face, flicked her sleeve and left without saying a word.
Perry Reed was furious.
"What do you want for lunch? I’ll make it," Flossie leaned half her body into the tent and said to Perry Reed with a raised eyebrow.
His simmering anger vanished without a trace.
"Whatever," Perry Reed replied awkwardly.
Acknowledging briefly, Flossie left.
Perry Reed: "..."
Flossie’s cooking was purely a whim born out of boredom, combined with her slight restlessness and inability to settle down, and, having lost so embarrassingly in chess, she couldn’t continue playing. She might as well find something else to do.
At this time, cooking was the only thing she could think of to do.
When Flossie arrived in the kitchen, everyone clearly expressed their welcome, and by the time she had chosen a few dishes and swiftly and neatly handled them, the kitchen people were practically prostrating in admiration.
In this day and age, a woman like R was really hard to find.
She could fight, strategize, and outsmart others, a rare heroine on the battlefield.
Logically, someone like this would be limited to the battlefield, with no chance of cooking in the kitchen.
Who would’ve thought—
R accomplished it!
Moreover, her technique was countless times better than those of the rough men.
But, upon seeing Flossie cook, they were basically petrified, swallowing back all the praise they had just thought of.
Honestly, Flossie’s cooking techniques were impressive.
As long as it was a technical task, she could easily handle it with a flair that was exceptionally beautiful.
She was too carefree!
She didn’t follow the rules for any step, doing it all her own way.
She even added vegetables before the oil...
After three dishes were done, their eyes were dazzled, but seeing those nearly normal-looking dishes, they had no appetite at all.
They looked normal, but who knows how peculiar the taste was...
"Bring me two bowls of rice."
Placing the three dishes on a platter, Flossie instructed someone again.
That person immediately fumbled to serve the rice, carefully placing it on the platter for her.
Flossie cheerfully walked out of the cafeteria and then arrived outside Perry Reed’s tent.
For some unknown reason, Perry Reed inside the tent suddenly sneezed.
A sense of foreboding...
