Shock, seriousness, disbelief.
Just a second ago, Flossie Wright’s fist had brutally struck the fishmonger aunt in the abdomen, so quickly that the eye could hardly capture, the moment she withdrew her hand, the fishmonger aunt let out a chilling scream, falling backward while clutching her stomach. A look of surprise flashed in her eyes at the last moment, as if she hadn’t expected it at all.
Everyone was stunned.
No one expected that a soldier would attack a civilian.
The fishmonger uncle saw his wife being bullied and didn’t care about Flossie’s face. But as he was about to rush at Flossie with clenched fists, he ran into a pair of bone-chilling eyes, immobilizing him on the spot, his legs trembling.
Flossie’s body was emanating an aura of killing.
Standing there like the Grim Reaper, her cold eyes were void of any emotion. Sharp, cold, dangerous. Revealing herself in the raw, she was as cold and as dangerous as extreme could be.
"Why are you all huddled together? Aren’t you going to sell vegetables?!"
Then abruptly, a gruff voice squeezed into the silent crowd. It belonged to a fellow who appeared to be in his early twenties, not very tall but well-built. He seemed to be barreling in sideways but his face quickly changed at the sight of the fishmonger aunt, who was rolling on the ground in pain.

"Aunt, what happened to you?"
With slightly anxious steps, the young man moved closer, but before he could take a few steps, he was drawn to Flossie’s extremely noticeable presence, his glance towards her inadvertently met with her icy gaze, causing him to freeze instantly.
"Nephew, you have to take up my cause," the fishmonger aunt upon seeing him, scurried to him with tears and snot raining down, and clung to his thighs, sobbing inconsolably. "We work hard to make ends meet by selling fish. That soldier has no respect for the law, she hit me... Nephew, let me advise you - soldiers are seldom good, so you’d better forget about that Yvonne Watson."
With the fishmonger aunt’s clamoring and fussing, the young man finally snapped out of the dangerous killing aura. But hearing her words, he couldn’t muster the will to discipline the female soldier.
However, he didn’t dare to confront Flossie, who unexpectedly approached him, grabbing hold of his collar.
"Buddy, I need a word with you."
Dispelling all her killing aura and iciness, she slightly tightened her grip on his collar. A razor-sharp glint flashed in Flossie’s eyes, before he had time to react, he was unceremoniously dragged away...
The fishmonger aunt watched in dismay as her "enemy" and "backup" went off into the distance, her cries growing even more heartbreaking.
With the ones involved gone, no one wanted to get involved in this troublesome matter and the crowd slowly dispersed.
However, from not too far away, two individuals who had unexpectedly witnessed this scene, kept a close eye on the direction in which Flossie moved, not in a hurry to leave.
"Captain, even I can’t stand to watch. Flossie was right to take action, wasn’t she..." Willie Ash took a few steps towards Glenn Hutchinson, speaking up for Flossie cheerfully.
Attacking civilians could end up in a military court if things get out of hand!
Glenn Hutchinson cast a cool glance at him, a flash in his deep gaze, "Suppress this incident."
"Sure thing!"
Willie Ash immediately beamed with joy.
