That was what Glenn Hutchinson said.
Flossie Wright accepted this "special treatment" as a matter of course.
"Here you are."
As the ten-minute breakfast time was about to end, Joshua Bailey finally saw Flossie Wright arriving at the cafeteria and immediately squinted with a smile.
He had even made a bet with someone on whether the newlyweds would be inseparable for a few days or prioritize work.
Flossie Wright swung the whistle in her hand, strolling leisurely to him.
"How many minutes left?" Flossie scanned the cafeteria.
Glancing at his watch, Joshua Bailey replied, "Three minutes."
"And Callie Stewart?"
Flossie Wright crossed her arms, her gaze changing subtly.
Joshua Bailey followed her gaze and immediately spotted Callie Stewart sitting alone at a table near the door, surrounded by no one, while others were joyfully gathered together, leaving her isolated and desolate.
"Oh," after a few glances, Joshua Bailey realized, "she doesn’t get along with people and starts arguments over disagreements, so probably no one wants to sit with her."
Flossie Wright nodded slightly and shrugged, indicating she understood.
Callie Stewart looked down on others, unwilling to associate with them, and others isolated her, making her lone actions somewhat expected.
Flossie Wright smirked, holding her whistle, and walked straight to the cafeteria door.
Standing at the door, she took a sweeping glance at the situation inside.
Not only Callie Stewart but quite a few others were isolated too, including Luna Vaughan and Nancy Phillips. The three of them took the top spots in various subjects among the female soldiers, and it would be normal for strong individuals to band together, but the three’s energies seemed incompatible, and no exchanges were observed.
Previously, as a student, she only focused on those close to her and didn’t pay attention to others’ situations, but now from an instructor’s perspective, the isolation of the strong was not uncommon.
It was unclear whether that batch was an exception, or this current batch was.
Iris Dukes ran up to Flossie Wright, holding two Steamed Buns.
Flossie raised an eyebrow at her.
"You haven’t eaten breakfast, right? Here, take this."
Grinning, Iris Dukes naturally handed the Steamed Buns to Flossie Wright.
Glancing at the two Steamed Buns, Flossie Wright didn’t accept them.
Offering unsolicited kindness often comes with strings attached.
"What’s the matter?" Seeing Iris Dukes’s disappointed expression, Flossie Wright asked directly.
"Didn’t you marry Captain Hutchinson?" Iris Dukes blinked her big watery eyes, filled with obvious amusement, with a bit of flattery and shyness.
"Who said that?" Flossie Wright asked with a smile.
Rolling her eyes, Iris Dukes replied decisively, "A lot of people say so."
Never betray your teammates!
"Go on," Flossie Wright raised an eyebrow.
Just as Iris Dukes was about to speak, she hesitated again, gently biting her lip, knocking the Steamed Buns in her hands together until she noticed Joshua Bailey approaching. After hesitating for a while, she quickly blurted out, "I want to know Jude Marsh’s birthday, hobbies, family, if he has a girlfriend..."
Flossie Wright looked up in slight surprise.
But Iris Dukes abruptly stopped her voice, blinking innocently at Flossie Wright.
After a pause, realizing what she meant, Flossie Wright slightly nodded and put her arm around Iris Dukes’s shoulders.
"That’s not a problem."
Flossie Wright raised her eyebrows, pulling Iris Dukes outside, avoiding a curious look from Jude Marsh inside the cafeteria.
"Really?" Iris Dukes looked at her in surprise.
"Hmm," Flossie Wright nodded as if promising.
Iris Dukes blinked repeatedly.
Somehow, although she had complete trust in Flossie Wright, she always felt Flossie had more to say.
The ominous feeling gave her chills down her spine...
Flossie Wright whispered a few words into her ear.
It was at that moment Joshua Bailey reached the door, noticing their mysterious demeanor, though curious, he focused on business and blew his whistle.
"Beep — Beep — Beep — "
The shrill whistle sounded at the cafeteria door, filling the entire cafeteria.
"Okay!"

Amidst the piercing noise, Iris Dukes’s voice got drowned out, but her obedient nod was unmistakably clear.
Flossie Wright patted her head as if looking at a pet.
Iris Dukes beamed with delight.
"I’ll ask for you this afternoon," Flossie Wright promised as she smiled at Iris Dukes.
During peacekeeping, Flossie occasionally noticed Iris circling around Jude Marsh, though she never paid much attention. Seeing Iris proactively inquire like this was somewhat surprising to Flossie.
But this was not something Flossie could refuse.
It was just a small favor; if it could bring about something good, why not?
Iris Dukes smiled brilliantly, but in the end, as Flossie rushed to the assembly, she never took her Steamed Buns.
When Jude Marsh exited, he immediately saw Iris Dukes standing at the door with a silly smile, still holding the two long-cold Steamed Buns. He frowned slightly but said nothing in the end.
When Flossie Wright arrived at the lineup, the students had just formed orderly rows, each standing ramrod straight.
The wind and snow raged, blinding their eyes.
"We’re going to change our approach to today’s training," Joshua Bailey spoke steadily with his hands behind his back.
The cold winds howled, yet ensured every sound fell clearly into their ears.
"You might have noticed, the training plan today only lists the morning exercise content. Starting today, you only need to complete the morning exercise training. Beyond that, you can use your time freely. In ten days, we’ll assess several subjects, and the content will be announced at noon. During these ten days, focus on your weaknesses for intensive training. For any challenges, you may consult any instructor you know or even have them draft a training plan for you."
The uninformed Night Vice Officer looked up at the sky.
Just missing one day, and such rapid changes...
