"She’s fine." Belinda Nichols said with a straight face, somewhat disapproving of Daisy Deacon’s words.
"She will be." But Sandy Cruz followed up on Daisy’s words.
After all, Flossie Wright indeed stirred up quite a bit of trouble.
"Pfft." Daisy couldn’t help but laugh and winked at Flossie, "The people around you are still a bunch of oddballs."
"Are they?" Flossie asked with a bit of curiosity.
Aren’t they?
Daisy chuckled.
She was just making some polite conversation; did they have to be so serious?
"Going to eat?" With a smile still lingering in her eyes, Daisy asked them.
"Yeah." Rowdy Brightwill nodded.
"Then you guys go ahead, we have some things to do." Saying this, not waiting for their response, Daisy waved her hand, "Bye."
"Alright." Rowdy replied promptly.
Belinda and Sandy didn’t speak, but their eyes were on Daisy.
They knew Flossie Wright had a good relationship with Perry Reed from DARK. Though they didn’t know why it was good, like Rowdy Brightwill, through Perry’s people, they knew some things about the Mercenary Corps known as Saughter.
Daisy Deacon, Nail, is the leader of Saughter.
The reputation of Saughter was on par with DARK. They were not isolated, and among the many mercenaries here, only a few Mercenary Corps were well-known. Saughter and DARK ranked in the top five; they knew a bit about them.
However, Flossie had such a good relationship with Nail; they were still somewhat concerned.
Or rather, they had to be concerned.
Just that, they had no reason to dig deeper.
Thus, the three of them left and headed to the canteen.
After the three left, Flossie asked Daisy, "What’s up?"
"I suddenly thought of something," Daisy excitedly gossiped with Flossie, "Are you two planning to get married?"
"That Hutchinson guy or something." Daisy tried to recall, but couldn’t remember the exact name.
"Glenn Hutchinson." Flossie repeated the name helplessly.
"Yeah, that’s him." Daisy nodded.
"No." Flossie was extremely calm.
The marriage registration form, who knows where she tossed it.
She didn’t know what Glenn Hutchinson thought, but she indeed hadn’t seriously considered this issue.
"Alright, I think you two have a pretty good chance," Daisy mused seriously, "When you get married, I might not be able to attend, but remember to notify me when you have a baby."
"..." Flossie twitched her mouth, nonchalantly, "We’ll see."
With a smile, Daisy hooked an arm around her neck, raising an eyebrow, "Girl, I’ve got a big gift for you."
"Perry Reed’s money?" Flossie teased with a smile.
"...Tacky!" Daisy looked at her with disdain.
"His money, I could consider." Flossie pried her fingers open one by one, then chuckled lightly, "Anything else, no thanks."
Finished speaking, she clapped her hands and walked straight to the cafeteria.
Daisy crossed her arms, watched her back, and silently despised her again.
But in the end, she couldn’t help but laugh herself.
Adjusting her hat brim, Daisy quickened her pace, cheerfully keeping up with Flossie’s speed.
When Flossie and Daisy arrived at the canteen, Glenn Hutchinson, who was supposed to have dinner with them, had already arrived earlier and prepared meals for both of them.
"Comrade Hutchinson, you..."
Approaching the table, Flossie started her sentence with a meaningful look at Glenn Hutchinson.
"Don’t like it?" Glenn Hutchinson raised an eyebrow, questioning her.
Flossie was left speechless.
Two untouched plates, one placed by Glenn Hutchinson’s hand, and one opposite him.
Naturally, Daisy sat across.
But Flossie had no intention of sitting with Glenn Hutchinson.
"Sit here."
Seeing Flossie about to move the plate to the other side, Glenn Hutchinson coldly looked at her, a bit irritated.
Just got back and barely spent a few minutes; now she didn’t even want to sit together?!
Choosing friends over romance!
Comrade Hutchinson was quite displeased, a vinegar jar spilling all over the room!
However, Flossie just mentally marked a cross on him.
Dare to not be so petty?!
So, not bothering with him, she went to get that plate and sat next to Daisy.
Glenn shot her a cold glance.
Flossie suddenly got a headache.
Meanwhile, Daisy broke the chopsticks, picked up a chicken kidney, and placed it on Glenn’s plate, speaking earnestly, "Here, brother Hutchinson, nourish your kidneys."
As soon as those words left her lips, the entire temperature at the table suddenly dropped by several degrees, and a chilling pressure instantly spread over the table, the formidable intimidation almost suffocating.
Hearing Daisy’s words loud and clear, Flossie’s action of breaking the chopsticks immediately froze.
Oh crap!

Daisy wasn’t usually like this?!
When did the two of them... start targeting each other?!
"No need to thank me."
Noticing Glenn’s gaze fall on her, Daisy smirked, calmly adding.
Glenn’s eyes darkened, looking at Flossie with a meaning somewhat obscure, then he spoke slowly, "Thank you on behalf of Flossie."
Flossie: "..."
