However, the large campus had its curfew, and by the time Flossie Wright returned, it was already past midnight, and the dormitory door was locked.
"You head back first."
Flossie Wright pulled down the brim of her hat and said to Glenn Hutchinson.
"Be careful." Glenn Hutchinson glanced at her and reminded.
Flossie replied naturally.
Circumventing the main entrance, Flossie turned towards the dormitory window, raised her hand to wave at Glenn Hutchinson, and then disappeared around the corner.
Glenn Hutchinson watched her for a moment.
Finally, he walked a few steps in that direction.
Arriving at the corner, Glenn Hutchinson looked up and saw the silhouette agilely moving on the wall, his gaze softened slightly.
Soon, that silhouette vanished into a third-floor window.
In less than two minutes, he saw the light from that dormitory flick on and then quickly go out again.
Flossie Wright had likely managed to sneak in without being noticed.
Gathering his thoughts, Glenn Hutchinson stood there quietly for a moment and then turned to leave.
On the other side.
Flossie Wright left the third-floor dormitory and calmly walked downstairs.
She came to the door of dormitory 207.
The key was with her.
She took out the key, quietly unlocked the door, and silently walked in.
The dormitory was different from the others; everyone was a study genius, rarely staying up late to review, so at this hour, they were usually all asleep.
As soon as Flossie entered, she saw a figure standing in the middle of the room.
She immediately frowned.
Narrowing her eyes to carefully discern, she recognized the person.
Joanna Kane.
Pausing slightly, Flossie gave her a couple of looks, but without any greeting or small talk, she walked straight towards the balcony.
Passing by Joanna.
But then, the other person’s hand suddenly reached out and blocked Flossie’s path.
"Something up?"
Stopping in her tracks, Flossie raised an eyebrow and questioned Joanna.
There was no clear rule here about when to come back or when to go to bed.
After all, some stayed up late to study, and others, to train.
No rule could stop anyone willing to put in the effort, so Glenn Hutchinson and the others hadn’t set any strict regulations.
"Did you come back with Glenn Hutchinson?"
Tilting her head, Joanna asked.
Although it was a question, her tone was affirmative.
With one hand in her pocket, Flossie looked at her casually, seeing no need to deny it.
"Be more careful next time."
Joanna’s voice was low, almost a warning.
Flossie glanced at her.
Quickly looking away.
Having no intention of pursuing the matter further, after Joanna withdrew her hand, Flossie turned straight towards the balcony.
When Flossie returned from washing up, Joanna was already in bed, asleep.
Flossie looked at her bed and then climbed into her own.
As she lay down to sleep, facing Mariana Buck’s bed, she unexpectedly made eye contact with Mariana.
Mariana was also awake.
The two exchanged a few spontaneous glances before simultaneously turning over.
Each went to sleep.
The next day.
Glenn Hutchinson kept his word.
The training schedule was adjusted, and for the entire day, all the subjects were ones Flossie Wright excelled in.
Therefore, after Flossie easily completed the training targets, she had a great deal of free time.
