"Oh my God--"
A subconscious outcry resonated, followed by an eerie atmosphere rapidly diffusing around them.
Ten bullets, ten rings in total.
No holes could be seen in the middle of the target paper - all were clustered within the first ring, neither inside nor outside. Ten holes were distinctly displayed in sight.
Such a striking sight.
Getting a score of ten rings wasn’t a big deal, as quite a few people amongst them had already scored sixty rings before. However, this "ten rings" held a different meaning. From a certain perspective, ten rings was no different from a hundred rings. Because if she could control her bullets within the first ring, she could control them up to the tenth ring. Through this action, she was openly challenging the stoic Instructor.

At that moment, shock and admiration were clearly shown in everyone’s eyes. They suddenly remembered how Flossie Wright was being petitioned by two teams yesterday. They couldn’t understand why such a talented person was assigned to the cooking class, so they didn’t really take it seriously then. But Flossie Wright demonstrated her true power to them-- those who were in the cooking class could not only be good cooks, but potentially experts in these matters!
On the other hand, after a brief moment of astonishment, the others in the cooking class broke out into laughter, their faces full of satisfaction and joy. It looked as though it was they who had shot Flossie’s target and seeing everybody’s reaction lit up their faces even more.
"Did you shoot this?"
The stoic Instructor took the target paper, scrutinized it carefully for a moment, and then moved closer to Flossie, his voice full of skepticism.
As far as he knew, there were no exceptions to talents like Flossie being buried in the cooking class, let alone a sharpshooter. It went against reason, so he didn’t even think she would hit the target, not even with one bullet.
Flossie briefly glanced at the target, seemingly indifferent to her own achievements, she retorted in an emotionless tone: "Didn’t you witness it with your own eyes?"
His hand, which was holding the binoculars, clenched slightly. The stoic Instructor felt inexplicably embarrassed.
When Flossie had started shooting, he purposely watched for her mistakes, observed the target the whole time, but was unexpectedly made a laughing stock instead. Her brazen act, directly making him the butt of the joke, filled him with anger but left him with no place to vent, causing him great frustration.
"You’re capable, huh," the stoic Instructor gritted his teeth and nodded, his eyes almost popping out in disbelief, as he had to compromise and yell towards Flossie, "I always do what I say I will, I won’t hold this against you!"
"Thanks then."
In contrast to his anxiety, Flossie casually responded, as if she didn’t consider the matter to be of any importance, then walked past him towards the ginger soup stand.
Nothing could be more infuriating than complete ignorance. Flossie’s actions were akin to pouring oil on the fiery Instructor.
But Flossie didn’t care.
If he couldn’t find faults with her, no matter how much she irritated him, he would have to swallow his anger obediently!
The stoic Instructor glared at Flossie from afar, then vented his anger onto the new recruits nearby. He yelled out, "What are you all doing, standing like statues? Don’t you want ginger soup anymore?!"
After a moment’s silence, the new recruits dispersed immediately, leaving the Instructor’s radius of attack.
However, the angrier the Instructor was, and the more panic-stricken the new recruits were, the happier the cooking class members were. Even serving ginger soup in the rain, they whistled and hummed with joy. Flossie, the ’heroine,’ wanted to help, but they forcibly made her stand aside. Looking at their beaming faces, she couldn’t help but laugh through her tears.
