He was observing the situation nearby.
Also observing the most suitable timing.
Until a certain moment, he suddenly furrowed his eyebrows and walked straight into someone’s firing range.
At the same time—
Hidden beneath the bushes, Flossie Wright, who had been observing the situation, just felt that the matter was settled, then saw that silhouette voluntarily exposing itself. Anger surged in her heart, and she didn’t even realize it herself before she pulled the trigger!
Directly aiming at the figure shooting towards Glenn Hutchinson!
The bullet pierced through the center of the forehead.

Out of instinct, Flossie Wright breathed a sigh of relief.
However, just as she relaxed, she noticed that Glenn Hutchinson, who had been courting death, was no longer in his original place.
Frowning, Flossie realized something.
He tricked her again!
So infuriating!
Putting away the sniper rifle, Flossie Wright stood up directly from the grass, slightly moving her stiff body after a long ambush, then quickly turned around, planning to evade Glenn Hutchinson’s pursuit and leave.
Even though she understood that once Glenn Hutchinson discovered her location, there’s an eighty percent chance he would catch up with her.
What she could be grateful for was that Glenn Hutchinson might not be very familiar with this mountain, thus delaying his time.
This would give her quite some leeway.
Several escape plans flashed through her mind, although she knew each one could be anticipated by Glenn Hutchinson.
Casually choosing one, Flossie Wright quickly made her way down the mountain with the sniper rifle.
No matter how much she calculated, she couldn’t outsmart Glenn Hutchinson who had his eyes fixed on her.
On the final stretch down the mountain, a silhouette suddenly flashed from the bushes before her, blocking her path.
Flossie Wright froze in place immediately.
Frowning, she looked at Glenn Hutchinson ahead.
In army combat attire, his aura appeared even more robust. After three months of absence, it seemed he hadn’t changed one bit, except those eyes were even deeper and more unfathomable than before.
As Flossie Wright scrutinized Glenn Hutchinson, he also unabashedly inspected her.
She was dressed very casually, not even wearing a bulletproof vest.
A black duckbill cap, the brim pressed quite low, obscuring her eyebrows, a black jacket unzipped revealing a white shirt underneath, along with simple casual pants and black sneakers; if it weren’t for the sniper rifle slung on her shoulder, anyone would probably think she was out for a stroll.
Her hair seemed to have grown quite a bit; the short hair she always had was now long enough to cover the nape of her neck, untied, stray strands making her already small face appear even more petite.
She had changed a lot.
Still, her aura remained constant.
"Not going to check on your team?"
Adjusting her cap, Flossie Wright casually remarked, blocking Glenn Hutchinson’s head from her sight.
She didn’t want to look at him at all.
Glenn Hutchinson paused for a moment, intent on approaching her, but after two steps, he noticed her fingers gripping the sniper strap ever tighter, her force seemed to clutch his heart fiercely. His movement then stopped.
He looked at Flossie Wright.
In eyes unseen by her, there flashed pity and sorrow, yet all emotions were gradually replaced by mounting severity.
"I only want to care about you."
Finally, Glenn Hutchinson spoke, his words weighed heavily, each syllable enunciated slowly.
Each word reached Flossie’s ears, but she didn’t move.
With lowered brows, unwilling to meet Glenn’s gaze, her fingers tightly grasped that strap as an unexplainable fury turbulently filled her chest.
