It’s not far from the dormitory to the canteen, Flossie Wright made the round trip quickly.
However, the time spent heating up the night snack took a little while.
During that time, Flossie went to the Office Building, briefly explaining to Joshua Bailey and the others who had already arrived there, saying she would be a bit late.
Only then did she return to the canteen and bring the reheated late-night snack back.
As she pushed the door open, Flossie scanned the brightly lit dormitory with her eyes, and sure enough, Glenn Hutchinson wasn’t asleep.
Seeing Flossie return, Glenn Hutchinson showed no sign of guilt, coming over directly.
"You’re back."
Glenn Hutchinson’s expression was quite open.
Flossie tossed the late-night snack to him and, at the moment he reached out to catch it, said in a cool voice, "Hurry up and eat, I’m going back to sleep."
He wasn’t sleeping, didn’t want to rest, but she didn’t plan on staying up with him.

In this regard, Glenn Hutchinson naturally wouldn’t stop her.
He took the late-night snack and went to eat obediently.
He ate a bit slowly, and only after Flossie had had another half-hour of sleep did he wake her, and the two went to the Office Building together.
Four in the morning.
The urgent assembly call echoed through the silent Base.
Five instructors stood in front of the rundown dormitory, waiting for the frazzled trainees to gather downstairs.
They stood tall amidst the wind and snow, with layers of snow accumulating on them, creating a striking visual impact the moment one laid eyes on them.
A helicopter hovered above, its rumbling sound echoing as if reverberating within one’s chest.
The trainees didn’t know what would happen next, but they knew there was definitely a big operation coming up.
A ladder was lowered from the helicopter, and they were hectically directed to climb up until all members were aboard. Only then did the instructors start explaining their upcoming mission.
Six days, wilderness survival, initially acting alone, with a chance to encounter companions along the way. Whether to choose cooperation was their decision.
The rules were explained by the ever-active Joshua Bailey.
Having experience, the regulations were not complicated, yet very straightforward.
This time, the wilderness survival location was different from last year’s. Although the area wasn’t large, the numerous swamps required a lot from them.
For the first time, Flossie wasn’t participating in such training but instead was observing it in another role, finding it somewhat novel.
The helicopter dropped everyone off, then flew to their camping site.
"Just the few of us?"
Standing on the empty grassland, the rotor wash from the helicopter gusted behind Flossie.
She surveyed the surroundings, looking at the desolate mountains and forests at dawn, feeling an unimaginable desolation.
"The Rescue Team will come in the afternoon." Glenn Hutchinson stood beside her, explaining.
Flossie touched her nose.
As an instructor, her only concern was with training, everything else was out of her interest. She certainly hadn’t considered the conditions of the camping site.
Glenn Hutchinson glanced at her and added, "We have to pitch our own tents."
"Hmm." Flossie shrugged, having no objections to this.
Meanwhile, Joshua Bailey and Dallion Collins had already brought over the tents from the helicopter.
Two tents, not particularly large, but certainly not small either.
One tent would serve as the office and quarters for Glenn Hutchinson and Flossie, the other for the three male instructors.
Each person set up their own, with no words exchanged.
They were all professional special forces, and as instructors, they were familiar with every piece of the tent. By the time daylight broke, they had set up the two tents.
"Is there anything to eat?"
After finishing the strenuous work, Flossie looked up at the sky.
Being in the south, the weather was chilly but hadn’t reached the point of snowing yet.
"There is."
Glenn Hutchinson emerged from the tent, answering before Joshua Bailey and the others could.
Flossie turned her head, raising an eyebrow at him.
She didn’t recall them bringing any food, or notifying the helicopter to bring stored supplies.
Glenn Hutchinson handed a military knife to Flossie.
Puzzled, Flossie took the knife and looked at him.
"As long as we have you, it’s fine," Glenn Hutchinson said matter-of-factly.
Her mouth twitched, and Flossie seemed to understand.
