When the bombers began to unleash their power, Flossie Wright finally reached the highway two kilometers away from leaving the city.
"Get in the car."
Glenn Hutchinson, who was already waiting in the Jeep, gave Flossie Wright a direct order through the open window.
Flossie Wright took a breath and couldn’t help but raise her eyebrows.
She walked out from behind the dense thickets.
"Why are you here?" Flossie Wright walked over, opened the door of the front passenger seat, and immediately threw her sniper gun up.
"To pick you up." Glenn Hutchinson picked up the sniper gun that took up most of her seat.
"Where are they?" Flossie Wright got in and closed the door along the way.
Casually asking, Glenn Hutchinson started the Jeep.
"Belinda Nichols and the others."
Turning her head, Flossie Wright glanced at him sideways.
Glenn Hutchinson also looked at her and explained word by word, "Belinda Nichols and Anonymous left, the others went back first."
"Hmm?" Flossie Wright squinted her eyes.
Belinda Nichols and Anonymous left...
It seemed quite ambiguous.
"They’ll be back tomorrow." Glenn Hutchinson added.
"Oh." Flossie Wright understood the correct meaning.
As soon as the car started, a cool breeze slowly blew in through the window, and Flossie Wright heard the sound of explosions behind her. Images of the damage caused by bombers during drills flashed through her mind, making her think of that town.
After the explosions ceased for a while, Flossie Wright asked, "The bombers, what’s the deal?"
"They’re dispatched with permission from above," Glenn Hutchinson replied seriously.
"What’s the reason?" Flossie Wright furrowed her eyebrows.
Logically, peacekeeping forces shouldn’t act first, otherwise, it violates regulations.
"The other side wants to attack us, do we need a reason?" Glenn Hutchinson asked nonchalantly in return.
"No one stopped them." Flossie Wright sighed.
Seeing the bombers, if Gavin had no brains, he might have chosen to resist to the death, but he wasn’t really foolish. Plus, his base wasn’t here, and he lacked equipment and manpower, so he naturally ran far away beforehand.
Moreover, Eastlandia’s peacekeeping forces cannot attack the local residents.
Such actions also do not cause much damage.
"So, showing a warning first." Glenn Hutchinson said with a meaningful smile.
"So much money," Flossie Wright sighed.
"Eastlandia doesn’t lack money." Glenn Hutchinson’s tone was slightly heavier.
"But our equipment is still not..."
Flossie Wright just wanted to complain, but when she turned her head, she saw Glenn Hutchinson’s eyes with a hint of a smile, thought for a moment, and simply didn’t say it.
They, of course, were well aware of the specific situation.
Occasionally putting some gold on one’s face doesn’t feel bad.
Flossie Wright wisely chose not to expose it, letting the gold stick for a while.
Of course, the thoughts in her heart, Flossie Wright was still quite pleased with Eastlandia becoming stronger. In fact, Eastlandia was indeed strong, at least, West Hare, where they were, simply couldn’t compare when faced with Eastlandia.
"They’re planning to take action, how should we respond?" Flossie Wright changed the topic.
"I don’t know."
"What’s the order from above?"
The car turned a corner, Glenn Hutchinson’s voice slightly cold, "Hold the position."
"Just our limited forces?" Flossie Wright raised her eyes speechlessly.
"Just our limited forces," Glenn Hutchinson’s tone was extremely certain.
"For now, we’re the only peacekeeping forces," Glenn Hutchinson answered quite sternly.
The implication was that those people just wanted to force these peacekeeping forces to leave, and only when they were gone could this country fight as they pleased.
Flossie Wright suddenly didn’t know what to say.
