Flossie Wright inevitably froze for a moment.
She really didn’t expect that Belinda Nichols would candidly admit her relationship with Ice at such a moment.
So anxious?
Her eyes subtly shifted, and Flossie paused for a moment, then calmly nodded, "Yeah."
This matter, even if Belinda hadn’t proactively admitted it, she herself could confirm it to a good extent.
Belinda’s expression remained calm and indifferent, although the feeling of pain had inadvertently been expressed, she seemed not to care, with a slight frown, as if worrying about something.
After a while, she spoke in a cold and hard voice, "I don’t want him involved in the peacekeeping forces’ matters."
"He’s worried about you," Flossie stated frankly.
An incident had just happened over there, and Ice immediately went to help with Anonymous, evidently keeping an eye on Belinda’s situation all the time. The reason for doing all this was definitely out of concern.
Having been in contact with Ice for three months, Flossie could roughly understand Ice’s reserved nature.
Cold on the outside but warm on the inside, treating people better than anyone else.
Otherwise, Flossie wouldn’t have chosen to stay at Anonymous.
"I don’t need it." Avoiding Flossie’s gaze, Belinda’s tone was somewhat particularly stiff.
After a brief pause, Flossie felt a bit helpless and directly asked, "So, what do you want me to do?"
"Persuade him." Belinda’s voice was very low.
"You can just tell him directly," Flossie became increasingly helpless.
"He’ll listen to you."
This time, upon raising her eyes again, Belinda’s gaze showed less coolness and more resolute persistence.
Thus, Flossie fell silent.
All things considered, since they’ve known each other for so long, Belinda has indeed never asked anything of her. All along, it was Belinda who helped her with things, standing by her side without question.
She was good to Belinda, but Belinda was even better to her. Their relationship could not be easily measured in terms of equivalence.
Therefore, for this request from Belinda, Flossie had no reason to refuse.
If a pair of siblings can be separated for so many years, taking completely different paths, there must be some unknown reasons.
She didn’t know what kind of unknown reasons there were, but one thing was certain: such reasons could constitute Belinda’s current persistence.
Not knowing means that it can’t be easily dismissed.
After a while, Flossie finally nodded and agreed to the matter.
Belinda looked at her deeply.
Flossie smiled slightly, "Get some sleep first, and I’ll send someone to bring over steamed buns for you in a few hours."
Belinda nodded.
Feeling at ease, Flossie didn’t press him further but, when she was about to sleep, found a nurse, instructed the nurse to give Belinda a painkiller shot, and then left.
As for the task of bringing steamed buns to Belinda, Flossie naturally assigned it to Rowdy Brightwill, who was waiting at the door.
Rowdy Brightwill agreed straightforwardly.
Once he agreed, he became a bit worried.
Alas, it’s getting late, and dinner time is coming up soon. I wonder if he’ll even manage to snag some steamed buns...
Exiting the suffocating building overwhelmed by the smell of medicine, Flossie walked directly towards their usual dormitory building.
Though it was called a dormitory building, only the second, third, and fourth floors were used for accommodations, leaving the first floor empty for meetings and assemblies.
Generally speaking, the chances of finding Glenn Hutchinson on the first floor were greater.
