The Murphy Family perhaps didn’t care about the loss of a few storefronts and didn’t want to offend the Summerton Family for Benjamin Murphy’s sake. Benjamin Murphy felt isolated and almost driven to madness.
Helen Wright spent the past few days by Benjamin Murphy’s side, feeling heartbroken. Now, thinking of Flossie Wright as the one who instigated everything, her anger boiled. Flossie didn’t even acknowledge her. Her gaze swept over the breakfast table, landing on the pile of food in front of Helen Wright. She then frowned at the two servants who were encouraging Helen to eat.
Caught off guard by the sudden question, the two servants froze and were stuck for a response.
Their primary focuses while in the Wright Family were Helen Wright and Grady Wright. As long as these two favored children of Regan Wright were happy, they had no other concerns. Since Regan Wright couldn’t stand Flossie’s rudeness towards the servants, each time Flossie insulted them and he found out, Flossie was the one who ended up being criticized.

"Sister, why don’t you have mine." Helen suddenly pushed her bowl towards Flossie, her tone still gentle and polite, "I haven’t touched it."
