They needed to discuss solutions.
"This year is considered good," Drake Easton frowned, "without a captain before, there were even more problems."
"It’ll be fine once the adjustment period is over," Rowdy Brightwill was not worried, "with the training difficulty increasing, they’ll be too tired to even stand up, let alone have the time and energy to fight and make trouble."
Thinking it over, Austin Shepherd nodded in agreement, "Mhm."
Hopefully, that was the case.
Drake Easton looked somber.
Before long, the evening training ended.
Standing in formation, Flossie Wright just caught her breath and hadn’t quite heard what was said upfront when she heard Drake Easton’s voice—
"Flossie Wright!"
Her response was reflexive and powerfully resounding.
Becca Reyes, dozing off beside her, was jolted awake by the call and looked over in surprise.
By the time Becca could see clearly, Flossie had already walked forward, standing in front of Drake Easton.
One after another, the other three captains were also called up.
"This is the training plan for the next month."
As they each walked past, Drake Easton handed out the bound training schedules in his hand and briefly explained.
After a day of training, Flossie Wright lacked energy and squinted her eyes slightly, quickly scanning the training plan in her hands under the light of the streetlamps.
The plan for the month was on quite a few sheets of paper.
It included many new items.
Major exercises such as vehicular and boat driving, steep cliff climbing, underwater demolition, map orientation, and wilderness survival were added, with basic physical conditioning exercises like mud crawling and log carrying as smaller items.
Reaching the end, Flossie Wright suddenly realized—
This was real training!
"Interesting."
At her side, as the sound of pages turning ceased, a low voice suddenly broke the silence.
Turning her head at the sound, she caught a glimpse of Sandy Cruz’s silhouette—the light was dim but the outline of his profile clear, and Flossie’s gaze flickered as she noticed his mildly upturned lips.
It seemed he was quite intrigued by this training schedule.
After distributing the training schedules, Drake Easton stood by Rowdy Brightwill’s side.
The person at the center had changed—Nathan Foster, who had given the previous commands, moved to the side, and taking his place was Austin Shepherd, holding a megaphone.
"The four of you, fall in!"
Raising an eyebrow, Austin Shepherd ordered crisply.
The four responded and returned to their previous positions.
"Two things," Austin Shepherd cleared his throat and spoke deliberately, though the atmosphere instantly became tense, "First, I forgot to mention earlier that each of your four teams will be punished for every conflict that arises, regardless of its size, and regardless of the final resolution. The entire team will suffer the consequences."
He paused, and Austin Shepherd eyed them narrowly, speaking amicably, "For each conflict, a one-kilometer armed cross-country run. We will settle accounts weekly. That’s a good deal, isn’t it?"
Silence fell over the group.
That was quite a harsh punishment!

This week, who knew how many conflicts had occurred among the four teams—plenty of them, both big and small, whether internal or between two teams, and Flossie Wright and Sandy Cruz were too tired to care anymore.
Flossie Wright’s eyebrows twitched.
Anyway, she had an ominous premonition.
"As for the second thing," quickly, Austin Shepherd’s expression turned serious, "starting tomorrow, anyone can choose to voluntarily withdraw. If someone accumulates three substandard performance evaluations in a day, they’re out. Our plan is to halve the number of participants within half a month. I hope you all work hard to help us exceed this mission!"
