If Flossie Wright were to embellish the story any further, he would be directly considered negligent in his duties.
Realizing Flossie’s intentions, the driver broke out into a cold sweat. It wasn’t until he saw Flossie driving away that he bolted towards the center of the road, arms outstretched to block the car’s path.
As long as Flossie stops the car, he can figure out a way to get her on his car. He also believes that Flossie does not have the guts to actually run over him!
Meanwhile, inside the car.
Flossie casually played some light music, glancing at the driver who dared to block her using his own body. But the look on her face was merely one of laziness and boredom.
There were many impressions of this driver. Indeed, he knew how to get along - he was obsequiously flattering in front of the master but behind their back, he assumed an air of superiority. He epitomized the term "despicable villain," even blatantly disregarding Flossie on numerous occasions.
Of course, Flossie had considered complaining in the past, but her reputation for being capricious and willful was so deeply ingrained no one would believe her, and the matter usually ended without resolution.
From the start, though, Flossie never took this driver seriously - spending any effort on characters like him was a waste in her eyes.
Turning up the volume on the music, Flossie looked at the scenery outside, and suddenly stepped hard on the accelerator, sending the speedometer from 20 mph to 80 mph, its turtle-like pace rapidly increasing.
Moreover, there were no signs of stopping.
The distance between the car and the driver was no more than 100 meters, and dropped to 20 meters, 10 meters, 5 meters, 2 meters quickly...
Stunned by the suddenly increasing speed, the panicking driver wide-eyed with terror. The rapidly rising feeling of terror made his pupils dilate. His momentary hope instantly dissipated, and the threat of death embraced him. It felt like his legs had turned to lead, and it wasn’t until the car was nearly upon him that he threw himself to the side...
The roaring wind swept past, the sound of the car wheels clear in his ears.
The pain from his body hitting the ground was intense. The driver felt as if his limbs had lost all feeling and he lay motionless on the ground. His trembling hand still unaware of narrowly escaping death.
It was only after an eternity that he started to regain his senses. One thought lingering in his mind -
Flossie had no intention of stopping!
Had he been a split second slower, even a bit, he would’ve been struck by the car and possibly killed on the spot.
The driver, pale as a ghost, was relieved at barely escaping death but the fear he felt towards Flossie, the source of his fear, would take a long time to dissipate. In the blink of an eye, Flossie had become his nightmare.
What a disaster!
By the time Flossie drove to the Wright Family Villa, it was nearing noon. After her identity was confirmed, she drove in without a hitch and parked the car in the garage according to her memory.
However, as soon as she parked the car, a 7-8 year old boy ran over to the car window and made a face at her.
"Stinky woman, you dare to come back, shameless!"
After making a face and insulting her, the boy picked up a rock and threw it at Flossie through the open car window, aiming for her face.
Her gaze hardened, a chill running through her eyes. Flossie caught the sharp stone effortlessly.
The boy was surprised when he saw that his stone didn’t hit her and he froze in place when he met Flossie’s icy gaze.
Flicking her finger, Flossie redirected the trajectory of the stone, causing it to change direction by ninety degrees in mid-air and fly straight towards the boy. In the blink of an eye, the stone had accurately struck his forehead.
The boy was dazed, the shock seemingly numbing the pain. His eyes blinked in disbelief.
Just as he was registering the pain on his forehead, Flossie, who was just in the car, had already stepped out and approached him.
But before the boy could even start crying, a seemingly non-existent warning gaze from above made him close his mouth immediately.
The boy shut up instantly.
