Flossie Wright rubbed the center of her forehead in frustration.
A son who is too sensible, a father who is too heartless...
They truly are a perfect match.
Flossie Wright went directly into the kitchen and yanked out Flynn Reid, who was soaking wet.
"Sister, the vegetables aren’t washed yet."
Being dragged to the doorway, Flynn Reid blinked innocently at her.
"Go find your dad and change your clothes."
With a frown, Flossie gave the order and slammed the door shut with a "thud."
Flynn Reid looked bewildered.
"Dad——"
Turning to look for his father, Flynn Reid was startled by the voice behind him.
Immediately, the second half of the sentence was swallowed back.
Coming up from behind, Glenn Hutchinson responded nonchalantly.
"Should I change clothes?"
Lowering his head, Flynn Reid looked at his water-splattered clothes and asked in confusion.
"No rush," Glenn said slowly and methodically.
Realizing that his father had something to say, Flynn Reid stood straight and seriously looked at Glenn.
"Attention!"
Glenn issued two simple commands.
Flynn Reid immediately followed the orders.
"Target, sofa, quick step—run!" Glenn continued, issuing the orders with a stern expression.
So, drenched, Flynn Reid dutifully jogged over to the sofa.
Glenn strode over with large steps.
With a glance, Glenn ordered concisely.
Flynn Reid then sat down again.
Having been put through such a ringer by Glenn, Flynn Reid couldn’t help but start to feel nervous.
Soon, Glenn sat down beside him too.
In contrast to Flynn Reid’s tense body, Glenn appeared much more relaxed.
"What did you call me?" Glenn asked gravely.
"Dad," Flynn Reid answered honestly.
"What do you call her?" Glenn continued to ask.
"Sister," Flynn Reid blurted out.
Squinting, Glenn’s rather stern gaze swept over Flynn Reid, with the single sound slightly rising, hinting at a warning.
Flynn Reid dared not speak casually.
Did he say it wrong?
Dad is dad, sister is sister.
That’s how he’s always called them.
So, Flynn Reid suddenly felt very troubled.
Ultimately, Flynn Reid had been educated by a group of elites.
So, after frowning and thinking for a long time, Flynn Reid quickly understood something.
However, before he could reflect, the kitchen door was pushed open.
"The vegetables are chopped, you go cook."
Flossie Wright walked out with a leisurely stride, and naturally, the one she addressed was Glenn.
Glenn immediately got up.
At the same time, Flynn Reid jumped off the sofa as well.
"Mom, I’ll pour you a glass of water."
Flashing an innocent and adorable smile at Flossie Wright, Flynn Reid immediately ran toward the water dispenser.
Flossie paused in place.
With a slight lift at the corner of her eyes, she cast a sharp glance toward Glenn.
Glenn calmly approached her.
