Having finished speaking, Flossie Wright touched her throat and felt a little itchy.
Having talked for nearly ten minutes, she rarely had the opportunity to speak that lengthily and naturally felt parched.
Just as she finished, Rowdy Brightwill appeared with a cup of tea and had already placed it before her.
Raising her eyebrows, Flossie Wright took the teacup, noticed several odd gazes, but didn’t mind, and took a sip.
The office went silent.
They had all heard Flossie Wright’s analyses before, but she had never explained them in such detail, only providing a general direction at best.
Now, each step, each analysis, was orderly and flawless.
Following her thought process, even they could clearly rule them out.
What astonished them even more was that Flossie Wright knew their thoughts like the back of her hand, making predictions based entirely on their thought patterns, discerning where they wouldn’t dare to act, where they wouldn’t act, and where the limits of their abilities lay.
Her meticulous mind was downright terrifying.
"Were you just humoring us before?"
Suddenly, Chen the company commander took a few steps forward, his gaze deep, fixating coldly on Flossie Wright.
Raising her eyebrows, Flossie Wright asked nonchalantly with a smile on her lips.
Chen the company commander’s face turned fierce as he suddenly raised his voice, "Do you think I’m stupid?"
"Not at all."
Facing him, Flossie Wright spread her hands, her expression composed.
Chen the company commander clenched his teeth.
Seeing him about to explode, Austin Shepherd quickly walked over, feigning seriousness, "Tell the truth!"
With a slight turn of her eyes, Flossie Wright scanned around, realizing that all eyes were on her.
Well, there was some pressure, to say the least.
"It’s too much trouble," Flossie Wright said, touching her nose and speaking more earnestly, "I thought that a rough idea would be enough for you all to understand, but who would have thought..."
The crowd fell silent.
What more could they say at this point?!
She thought they were capable enough; that’s why she kept it brief!
With a silent sneer—
If you don’t understand, that’s a problem with your abilities!
Chen the company commander and his team were so blocked they couldn’t utter half a word.
On the side, Rowdy Brightwill wanted to laugh.
He wondered how Flossie Wright had developed such courage, facing such a situation when anyone else would think to explain beforehand and not offend anyone.
Yet, with every sentence Flossie Wright uttered, there was a hidden barb, as if she had to insult their intelligence and couldn’t rest until she had.
She was indeed very sharp-tongued.
But from another perspective, this showed that she really didn’t care much about the matter.
After all, they had been nervous and worried for her, but she could fall asleep as soon as she entered the door, totally nonchalant.
Quite good indeed.
Rowdy Brightwill looked at her, with her bathed in the soft light, she seemed to gather all the light, exceptionally dazzling.
"Alright, as long as it’s explained clearly," said Bard Walker, regaining his composure, stepping forward, then he took a notebook from beside the table and placed it on top of the map.
Before, the notebook was in front of the map with a webpage open, which nobody noticed.
Now, as Bard Walker minimized the webpage, a figure suddenly appeared on the screen and Flossie Wright realized he had been on a video call the whole time.
The person on the video was a man dressed in an army training uniform.
With the rank of a colonel.
He sat in a chair, his posture very relaxed, playing with a pen, and Maxwell Moore looked about twenty-four or twenty-five years old, quite young.
