After being given a "stern" warning by Glenn Hutchinson, Flossie Wright actually quieted down.
She stayed obediently at the campsite, occasionally helping with some easy tasks, and didn’t go beyond the campsite gate under the watchful eyes of Glenn Hutchinson and Perry Reed.
Glenn Hutchinson and Perry Reed finally breathed a sigh of relief.
If Flossie Wright really wanted to stir things up, no one could stop her, and Daisy Deacon, Saughter, and Andrew valued her enormously; they were indeed worried she might do something outrageous.
If Flossie Wright weren’t injured, they might not have been so concerned, but she needed good rest now. Watching her scamper around like a monkey really wore them out.
The days passed by, and the whole campsite was mostly the same every day. Occasionally, things got a bit busy, but when there was no war, they spent most of their time training.
After enduring a period of time, Flossie’s injuries finally healed over seven or eight parts.
Meanwhile, the female soldiers who had been busy for several days fixing several roads returned in good health.
Speaking of good health, it only meant there were no missing limbs, because while repairing the last road, they encountered terrorists who had hidden landmines on a slope. Although they discovered in time, the clearance was tardy. Halfway through dismantling, it led to continuous explosions injuring many.
The only relief was that although a group of people was injured, no one died.
Flossie Wright learned of the news while watering the vegetable field with Sandy Cruz. Just as they finished watering that patch, Iris Dukes came running over, gasping for breath.
"Flossie, Flossie—"
As soon as she got close, Iris Dukes shouted breathlessly.
"What?" Flossie looked at her with curiosity.
After catching her breath, Iris Dukes stood up straight and explained to Flossie, "Sister Belinda is injured, do you want to take a look?"
"What happened?"
Flossie furrowed her brows and asked.
Iris Dukes briefly explained the situation with the landmines and said, "Sister Belinda was in the first batch and couldn’t react in time when the landmine was triggered. She protected Devina Millet but got herself injured. Fortunately, she wasn’t directly hit; only some stones struck her, so the injuries aren’t too severe."
"Is she receiving treatment?" Flossie sharply locked her brows.
"Yes." Iris Dukes replied heavily.
"Take me over."
Iris Dukes nodded quickly.
She was the first one to find Flossie, not just because Flossie was the captain, but also because Flossie and Belinda Nichols had a deep friendship. No matter what, Flossie had an obligation to know.
Soon, Flossie followed Iris Dukes to the medical relief area.
Sandy Cruz was originally standing aside, listening to the conversation between Flossie and Iris Dukes. Upon hearing that Sister Belinda was injured, he had intended to accompany for a visit but gave up the idea after hearing "not too severe."
In life, aside from death, nothing is serious.
Moreover, even if he went over, there wasn’t much he could do; better to do something else.

Considering there were quite a few injured, the campsite specially cleared a building to accommodate some wounded.
These wounded included soldiers from Eastlandia, and of course, also local refugees.
When Flossie and Iris Dukes arrived, the first floor was already bustling. Approximately a dozen soldiers had been affected by the landmines and temporarily incapacitated, while the rest were mostly lightly injured, currently queuing for treatment on the first floor.
