In the past, she wouldn’t dare to blatantly seek him out, and he, even more so, wouldn’t directly dine with a female soldier like this.
Does this mean he wants to go public?
New recruits aren’t allowed to date, but they will be assigned to different teams later, which wouldn’t affect their futures much, just stir up some ripples.
She had never even considered this before.
So does it mean that Calvin Ramos had stronger feelings for Cherry Hamilton, or rather, he never had any feelings for her at all?
Thinking up to this point, her mood grew heavy, her brows slightly furrowed, and she involuntarily diverted her gaze, quickening her steps towards Flossie Wright’s distant figure.
Becca Reyes didn’t enjoy her dinner very much at all.
How could feelings be severed just like that?
Even if Calvin Ramos appeared to her now as an uppercase, bold, and underlined scumbag, the past emotions couldn’t just be easily terminated.
Thinking about Calvin Ramos being with Cherry Hamilton brought her mood down a lot.
So much so that she had no appetite for dinner.
Flossie Wright, on the other hand, ate heartily, as if not worried at all about future training or conflicts.
Stepping out of the cafeteria.
"Flossie," walking beside Flossie Wright, Becca Reyes pulled herself out of her complex thoughts and asked with a sigh, "You’re now the captain, and conflicts are inevitable. What do you plan to do?"
"Mix it up cold," Flossie replied nonchalantly, gazing up at the dim sky.
Becca Reyes was quite worried, "The remaining female soldiers are formidable... if you don’t show some backbone, who will take you seriously?"
"You will."
Turning her head, Flossie Wright looked at her.
"You—" Becca Reyes gritted her teeth, not wanting to argue with her, and said bluntly, "What exactly are you thinking?"
"What about you, what do you think?"
The corner of Flossie Wright’s eye lifted with a hint of mirth as she suddenly asked.
"We as new recruits can’t be bullied, or what else can we do?" Becca Reyes grew angry at the thought, "What were you doing earlier? Jocelyn Carrington’s face was swollen like that, and you, as the captain, just stood by and watched?"
Flossie Wright shrugged, "It was interesting to watch."
Raising her left fist toward her, Becca Reyes said through clenched teeth, "Flossie Wright, don’t force me to get physical with you."
"Alright," waving away her threatening hand, Flossie Wright stopped walking and turned to look at her, "Then what do you want me to do? Those two in the dormitory, I can’t beat them."
"Ah? You can’t beat them?"
Becca Reyes was shocked.
Having known Flossie Wright for a while, Becca Reyes understood Flossie’s nature—she was usually too lazy for pleasantries and spoke plainly.
If Flossie Wright said she couldn’t win, it was definite that she couldn’t.
Yet, in her memory, Flossie Wright had never spoken of not being able to do something. Whatever she did, she always took people by surprise and then succeeded with a dazzling stance when no one expected it.
Like the last mission.
Now, Flossie Wright personally said that she couldn’t win against those two in the dormitory.
Becca Reyes was indeed a bit shocked.
In the face of her astonishment, Flossie Wright nodded nonchalantly.
There were many people she couldn’t deal with.
Typically, like Glenn Hutchinson and Perry Reed, then following them were Glenn’s subordinates; she could at best have a draw with Willie Ash’s group.
Coming down to closer ranks, comparing her strength to that of Rowdy Brightwill, Nathan Foster, and the like, she also fell short by a large margin, although she had a chance with some clever tricks.
"So," after some thought, Becca Reyes regained her composure and asked, "You don’t have any other methods?"
"Do you think a method is needed?"
