During the tedious training, Becca Reyes would occasionally make sarcastic remarks, because too many people were desperately practicing their marksmanship, leaving other equipment unclaimed, which to some extent could be credited to Flossie Wright.
By dusk, the three members of the group completed their training, dripping sweat, and gathered again by the stone table in the backyard of the cooking class.
Without a doubt, each of them was holding a book on military hand-signs.
"Where’s Flossie Wright?"
As they silently flipped through the books, trying to memorize the hand signals, Stuart Weston suddenly thought of Flossie Wright, who had once again made a name for herself with her marksmanship, and couldn’t help but ask Becca Reyes.
"I don’t know," Becca Reyes didn’t even lift her head, she simply turned a page and answered nonchalantly, "Looking at the training plan she left in the dormitory, I guess she’s probably lying down somewhere in the mountains."
"Huh?" Stuart Weston blinked in confusion, "Lying down?"
"Well, she can probably stand too," Becca was imitating some strange hand gestures from the book as she answered absentmindedly, "She wanted to go hunting."
Stuart Weston was having an orange, almost choked at her words, coughed for a long while, then opened his eyes in disbelief, "why, she wants an extra meal?"
"I don’t know, probably practicing her shooting."
Becca answered casually, then paused and suddenly looked up.

Right, Flossie Wright never liked to complicate things. Why had she set such a troublesome plan for herself?
Becca glanced at the training plan. It was full of complete processes but oddly difficult tasks, like dragging a rubber raft full of stones while armed swimming and dumping all the stones five kilometers away and then rowing the boat back by herself, or doing various shooting drills along the way with different standards and requirements. Like now, Flossie Wright had to get ten pieces of game in the mountains before she can come back...
This kind of abnormal training plan was completely different from what they had, and it certainly wasn’t from Flossie Wright. If Becca’s intuition was correct, this style of training was quite similar to Glenn Hutchinson’s methods.
"Is she okay?" Stuart Weston, after mumbling for a while, turned to Becca, gesturing towards his head hintingly.
"I don’t know if she’s okay, but I have to warn you, don’t ever say that in front of her."
Becca shot him a glance. At the same time, she saw Flossie Wright, who was carrying a bunch of ingredients, slowly walk towards them.
"I’m late!"
Placing several birds and a wild rabbit on the table, Flossie Wright dusted off her hands, and looking down at a clearly envy-stricken Stuart Weston from her superior standpoint, she said in a relaxed tone, "Don’t worry, you’re not getting any."
At the same time, Calvin Ramos, who was diligently reading and hadn’t been paying attention to the conversation between Becca and Stuart, finally furrowed his brows upon seeing the game on the table and looked up in surprise.
What met his eyes was Flossie Wright, clad in full gear and holding a rifle, her ocean camouflage emanating an enchanting color under the twilight, making her look relaxed and cool, which was not much different from the impression she had always given.
Stuart Weston who was grumbling to himself, decided that he should also go hunting so that he could get some game. Since he had an advantage of being close to the cooking class, there was no shortage of good cooks. If it comes to it, he just wouldn’t share with Flossie, that’ll show her!
In the end, our proud little Stuart had been reduced to such pettiness from all the setbacks he faced.
Ignoring the others who were "studying hard", Flossie Wright called over two cooks to deal with the game. These cooks hadn’t seen so much game in a long time. Although they were shocked by Flossie Wright’s crazy skills, they were so excited about the food that they took the game back to the kitchen immediately and began processing it joyfully.
"Save one portion, take it to Janice Wood later."
Seeing all of them being so focused on the game, Becca felt a bit uneasy. She took her book and went to the kitchen to give them a reminder.
"At this late hour?" One of the cooks replied, then turned to Becca, "Aren’t you guys going to prepare for training?"
Becca was stunned for a moment, she and Flossie indeed had no time right now.
Just then, Rowdy Brightwill, carrying a large stack of books, walked into the kitchen and popped his head out from behind the books and immediately chimed in, "No problem, I’ll deliver it."
Becca had already seen Rowdy Brightwill in the canteen during lunch, so she wasn’t surprised by his appearance. She was straightforward and nodded in response.
"What are you delivering?" At this moment, another figure walked into the kitchen from the dining hall. Austin Shepherd casually halted next to Rowdy, put his hand on his shoulder, and with a smile in his eyes, looked around the kitchen and finally landed his gaze on Becca, "Is Flossie here? Some soldiers want to challenge her in marksmanship, I came to ask for her opinion."
