Upon seeing Flossie Wright in this state, Jocelyn Carrington instinctively tensed up, watching her with a wary gaze.
After a slight pause, Flossie Wright spoke slowly, "Even though we are not allowed to ’mutually slaughter’ each other, I can give you three shots to take me down. If you have the guts, you can also ’kill’ me while I land on the island."
Such a provocative statement plunged the dormitory into an eerie silence.
Behavior like Flossie’s was no different from seeking death.
However, for some reason, they seemed extraordinarily calm, as if it was only natural for Flossie to say such things.
Because in their minds, every time Flossie was this bold, something unexpected happened. So, at the very beginning, they weren’t shocked, but had inexplicable anticipation.
Flossie’s words were like slapping Jocelyn Carrington’s face in person. The aura of humiliation caused Jocelyn Carrington to breath unevenly, and a glint of ferocity flashed in her eyes, "This is what you asked for!"
Flossie responded to her with indifference and silence, shrugged, picked up her clothes, and walked out the door.
At dawn, the horizon was filled with a vibrant red. The sea and sky reflected each other, with the colors of the sea merging with the sky. The sparkling sea was brushed by a cool sea breeze.
Boats set sail from the shore, leaving long ripples across the calm sea. Against the rising sun on the horizon, all boats became lively embellishments of the seaside sunrise.
New recruits participating in the field survival training for the first time were all chipper, gripping their guns tightly, their nervous and excited moods intermingling, their hearts pounding faster and faster, but they enjoyed it immensely.
"You’ll be going to Fishier Island, and our squad leaders will be waiting for you on the beach. If you can’t hold up any longer or if anything happens, send a distress signal so we can rescue you in time," the captain of the first squad sat at the bow, explaining solemnly to the recruits of the second squad, "After landing on the island, you’ll choose your own paths. You can’t team up or cheat. Those discovered cheating will be immediately taken away."
After a pause, the squad leader of the first squad looked at everyone on the boat and barked, "Understand?!"
"Understood!"
Everyone in the second squad exchanged glances and replied in unison.
Since the boats were small, each boat only took one squad. The squad leader of the first squad specially came on board to tell them the rules, but she never once gave them a friendly look, making the second squad seethe with rage, wishing they could just shoot her.
After the briefing, the squad leader of the first squad hurried back to her own boat and sailed away. All the new recruits from the first squad showed a middle finger to them, which she chose to ignore.
Everyone in the second squad was so furious they wanted to grind their teeth. Even Janice Wood had a look of dissatisfaction on her face, all hoping for the first time in unison that their boat would capsize!
The only one who didn’t care from the start, Flossie Wright, sat leisurely at the stern of the boat, with her gun in her hand, her face filled with boredom.

Fishier Island.
The new recruits participating in field survival training had not yet arrived, but two groups of soldiers in marine and jungle camos had already landed on different sides of the island.
"Captain, shall we take them all out within two hours?"
Upon landing, a dark-skinned soldier rubbed his hands together eagerly, apparently excited about what was to come.
The man known as the captain took a glance at him. As the sea breeze blew, he raised his eyebrows, appearing relaxed and comfortable. After sweeping his gaze around, he suddenly turned to face all the serious soldiers.
He spoke casually, "Start a fire, make food."
In an instant, everyone fell silent.
Damn it, Captain, not again!
