After that, she left the dormitory and headed for the training ground.

All the male and female soldiers had gone to join the rescue, after all, the group that had returned early was composed of elite troops. Given the urgency of the situation, apart from Flossie Wright and Jessie Grain, the two professional snipers, everyone else had been sent away.
They once again found themselves in a situation where only two people were training at the training ground.
"Did you watch the news?"
Flossie Wright was doing abdominal rotations on the bar when Jessie Grain appeared beside her at some point.
"What news?" Flossie asked without a pause, maintaining a steady pace in her rotations.
"The rescue," Jessie Grain replied softly, leaning to one side.
"Almost a day now," Flossie stopped her hands on the bar and looked down at Jessie Grain," she said indifferently, "how many bodies have been retrieved?"
Jessie Grain’s complexion darkened slightly.
Only Flossie Wright could speak of such a bloody matter so lightly.
However, what Flossie Wright said was true.
Once someone fell into the water and couldn’t receive immediate aid, within a few minutes that person could be declared drowned.
With over three hundred people, not everyone could escape. In that capsized vessel, those not rescued within ten minutes were mostly beyond saving, unless they were carried away by the currents to other places.
"They’ve retrieved about a dozen bodies so far," Jessie Grain continued in detail, following Flossie’s comment, "but later downstream some survivors were found, clinging to planks of wood, bits and pieces, adding up to three bodies and five living people."
"That’s it?"
Flossie Wright raised her eyebrows.
"That’s it," Jessie Grain said, clearly helpless.
Since last night, the rescue team hadn’t expected to find many survivors, and were mostly retrieving bodies to give the deceased’s families some closure.
Jessie Grain could only get updates from behind a screen and, unable to hold back, had come to find Flossie Wright.
Flossie Wright responded indifferently.
The next moment, she swung her straight legs again and resumed her abdominal rotations.
After doing forty-five rotations, she was covered in sweat. Fortunately, the weather was quite cool and not hot enough to cause heatstroke.
Jessie Grain stood by for a while, re-evaluating Flossie Wright’s physical condition.
A moment later, she asked, "Are you up for diving later?"
Upon hearing this, Flossie Wright raised an eyebrow, steadied her breathing, and responded definitively, "Yes."
With two people, at least they could look out for each other.
Jessie Grain had been training for quite some time, so she leaned to one side to rest, waiting for Flossie Wright to finish her abdominal rotations.
"Let’s go."
Five minutes later, Flossie Wright deftly jumped down from the bar and said to Jessie Grain.
"Aren’t you tired?"
Pulling down a towel that was hanging on another bar, Jessie Grain tossed it to the sweaty Flossie Wright.
It wasn’t that she underestimated Flossie Wright, but Flossie had been doing abdominal rotations for a long time and, given her physical condition, had probably used up most of her energy. If she were to have a problem due to fatigue while diving, Jessie Grain couldn’t take that responsibility.
She always remained objective.
Catching the towel that came her way, Flossie Wright’s eyes revealed a trace of weariness.
Since six o’clock the previous evening, she had not slept, and with the long duration of exercise, she indeed felt very tired now. She had intended to go back and rest, but diving was a different matter.
She wasn’t accustomed to combat in the water, but she found it easier to move there than on land; she could certainly use the time spent diving to rest.
