"No," Flossie Wright answered candidly.
Daisy Deacon suddenly didn’t know how to continue the conversation.
This girl, back when she was Erina Taylor, "messed around" with many men—all of them outstanding, whether in terms of wealth, ability, power, or reputation. Any one of them was incredible, but she didn’t regard any of them seriously. Among their group back then, the one they esteemed most was probably Perry Reed.
Who would have thought that such a bizarre event as rebirth happened to her less than two years ago, and now she has a new man?

Seeing her peculiar expression, Flossie didn’t even bother to explain and brought the topic back to the point, "You knew before you saw me?"
"No, I just asked Perry Reed," Daisy shrugged.
Ultimately, back when the suspicion arose, it was merely a suspicion, with at most a ten percent possibility. After personally seeing Flossie Wright, the likelihood rose to thirty percent. Then she directly called Perry Reed to confirm it, and it became one hundred percent certain.
Flossie finally nodded, accepting the fact that she was "betrayed" by Perry Reed.
"By the way," Daisy placed her hand on her shoulder, her beautiful eyes staring directly into hers, "why didn’t you tell me?"
"Would it be useful?" Flossie shrugged.
The one who got her killed back then was Andrew, who has already become Daisy’s husband. And standing in front of Daisy to admit that would only lead to two possibilities: either Daisy would directly shoot her, or Daisy would be half-doubting. If it wasn’t discovered by herself, with Daisy’s kind of mind, she could come up with countless conspiracy theories.
Moreover, Flossie had been stuck in the Forces for years, without many opportunities to go out, let alone find any time for a reunion.
Most of the time, knowing the other is fine is enough for peace of mind.
After all, she couldn’t become Erina Taylor again and rejoin Saughter.
"Forget it, I can’t blame you."
Daisy pulled a wry smile and gave Flossie another bear hug.
Flossie silently accepted.
After spending some time, under Daisy’s "repeated questioning," Flossie recounted the main events of the past two years for her.
Neither was a chatterbox, so Flossie briefly summed up her decent life in the Forces and meeting Glenn Hutchinson, finishing it in under two minutes, leaving Daisy with no reason to dig deeper.
Then Daisy shared her current state.
Flossie had always inquired about Daisy’s situation from Perry Reed, but Perry—being the lazy person he was—summed it up in two sentences. Daisy, being more patient, summed it up in three sentences.
First, living quite well.
Second, seeking revenge in progress.
Third, Saughter indeed is no more, and she doesn’t plan to re-establish it.
"Saughter..." Sitting on the grassland, Daisy tilted her head to look at her, a warm beam of sunlight falling on her. She looked deeply reminiscent and profound, "Do you blame me?"
"It’s better to disband," Flossie casually pulled a blade of grass and spoke nonchalantly, "They can do a lot of things."
Daisy lowered her gaze, intending to let go, but her expression grew more despondent, "Many people died for me."
"They did it voluntarily," Flossie said softly.
Their Saughter, each member carefully chosen by them, were brothers who lived and died together with them.
