Flossie Wright was momentarily stunned.
Soon, she couldn’t help but smile, asking, "Will you copy one for me?"
"..." Slightly taken aback, Belinda Nichols’s expression turned a few shades colder as she refused, "No time."
Flossie Wright’s smile grew even broader.
The five-kilometer run was over.
Gradually adapting to the intensity of the training, Flossie Wright felt tired but had no other reactions, let alone positive or negative emotions.
Here, some people began to complain, some began to strive, and Flossie, like Belinda, detached her thoughts and soul from the matter, not caring about it at all.
After disbanding, Flossie walked alongside Belinda to the dormitory building, taking leisurely steps as if strolling through a garden.
From a distance, they saw Becca Reyes and Stuart Weston.
Behind them, Cherry Hamilton was excitedly talking to Calvin Ramos, who seemed rather distracted and occasionally looked ahead at Becca Reyes with a slightly stiff expression.
After taking a look around, Flossie withdrew her gaze, turned her head to Belinda, and asked, "Do you think they have a chance?"
"Who with whom?"
With a puzzled frown, Belinda asked her.
Flossie shrugged, "Becca, Stuart."
She had always stayed out of Becca Reyes’s love life, but she didn’t support Becca being with Calvin Ramos.
Stuart, on the other hand, was somewhat clever, not rigid about some unnecessary rules, but wholeheartedly kind to Becca Reyes.
Good-looking, well-built, and capable too, though not as outstanding as Calvin Ramos, he was still a good match for Becca Reyes.
"Them..." Belinda thought for a moment, then shook her head, "Don’t know."
She hadn’t commented on relationships besides her "direct words" to Jocelyn Carrington last time.
Aside from Becca Reyes, she didn’t know anyone else well enough to give an opinion.
After glancing at her, Flossie smiled and didn’t continue the conversation.
In fact, she had no thoughts on the matter either.
Is it possible?
Don’t know.
No one can predict the outcome until things develop to the end.
Unexperienced matters are unfathomable unknowns.
Flossie wasn’t someone who thought about the future; or rather, she was best at living in the present, acting spontaneously without planning for her life.
Just like when Perry Reed asked her if she would leave in two years, even she didn’t have a definitive answer.
Because she had never thought about where her future lay.
Perhaps in a few days, maybe tomorrow, maybe the next second, she would no longer want to stay, right?
Dormitory 105.
Flossie and Belinda came back after taking a shower.
Becca Reyes was rummaging through her things.
"Flossie, do you have any ointment for treating sprains?"
Seeing Flossie come in, Becca, who was fiddling with bottles and jars, turned and asked her.
Flossie responded.
Last time, Glenn Hutchinson arranged for Eric Moore to bring a bunch of medications, which included everything: lotions, ointments, pills, patches, both for internal and external use, a complete array—someone not in the know would think he had moved a pharmacy over.
"For Stuart?"
Opening the cabinet, Flossie began searching for the ointment.
"..." Becca paused for a moment before nodding, "Yeah."
Mia Lawson hadn’t followed up on the matter, so the nurse brought just a medicine box, which didn’t contain much, and Stuart, in a rush, hadn’t taken anything before continuing training.
Just now on the road, Becca inquired about his condition and decided to still get some medicine for Stuart afterward.
After all, they were friends.
Finding the ointment, Flossie tossed it to her.
Catching the ointment, Becca thought for a moment, then cheekily approached.
Flossie grabbed a few clothes hangers, intending to hang her clothes when she saw Becca’s hesitant expression. She couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow, "Speak."
Clearing her throat, Becca quickly grabbed the clothes hangers from Flossie, saying with a smile, "I’ll hang your clothes for you."
Taken aback, Flossie scrutinized her, glanced at the ointment in her hands, and finally said dryly, "So I help you deliver the medicine?"
Stuart shared a dormitory with Calvin Ramos. If Becca ran to Stuart’s dormitory, there was a good chance of encountering Calvin Ramos.
Now that Becca was so annoyed with Calvin, she naturally didn’t want to run into him.
Naturally, she turned to Flossie.
Becca quickly nodded.
Thinking it over, Flossie shook her head, extended her hand, and said, "Hand it over."
Eagerly tossing the ointment back, Becca clasped her hands in a gesture of immense gratitude.
Flossie was amused yet bemused.
"Once you’ve hung the laundry, go take a shower," Flossie mentioned before leaving.
"Yes, yes, yes."
Becca nodded crisply.
Arriving at the men’s dormitory building, Flossie intercepted someone in the corridor to find out where Stuart’s room was, then swaggered upstairs.
The supervision here was always rather lax.
Men going to women’s dorms, women visiting men’s dorms—as long as you had a valid reason, you could go in.
Flossie had clearly arrived at the wrong time.
Standing at the door of dormitory 207, Flossie watched as the men inside, wearing only underpants, yelped and scrambled onto their beds, the complete scene making them seem like harassed "villagers," leading to an unavoidably embarrassing situation.
After waiting a while, the room finally quieted down.
"Captain Wright, what’s up?"
Someone poked their head out, looking embarrassed as they spoke to Flossie.
"Looking for Stuart."
Flossie waved the ointment in her hand.
Quickly, someone inside had an epiphany and promptly replied, "Oh, he went to take a shower. We can give it to him for you if you want."
Flossie wasn’t one to linger.
Shortly after, a tidy soldier came out swiftly, snatched the ointment from Flossie, and vanished like the wind.
Shrugging, Flossie, having finished her task, was ready to leave.
Before she could turn around, she heard a cold voice from behind, "Hey."
