Well, Flossie Wright was thoroughly enjoying herself.
Perhaps, for her, the greater the difficulty of the challenge, the more it piqued her interest.
However——
Compared to the difficulty Flossie created, assaulting without any knowledge of the internal structures still seemed somewhat safer.
At the very least, knowing the inside and out.
The two of them kept discussing this until five in the afternoon.
Fortunately, their soldiers were all quite independent. After the two of them refused contact, Glenn Hutchinson’s team was naturally taken over by Dallion Collins for command, while Flossie’s team was led by Sandy Cruz.
By the time they got back, their team members had completed the mission perfectly.
"Captain, you’re back."
As soon as they returned to the temporary stronghold, Willie Ash deliberately shouted out.
Instantly, a group of soldiers gnawing on dry rations in the bushes lifted their heads, looking pitifully over at them.
Almost instinctively, Flossie Wright paused in her steps and shivered.
Meanwhile, Glenn stopped and gave them a chilly look, his eyes filled with a warning.
This group of punks, he brought them up himself, how could he not know what they were thinking?
"Five minutes, finish your dinner."
Raising his wrist to check his watch, Glenn commanded coldly.
As soon as he spoke these words.
Everyone’s hearts skipped slightly, and they promptly lowered their heads, gobbling up their dry rations.
"Willie Ash!"
Glenn called out in a low voice, his authority undiminished.
Willie immediately stood up from the ground.
"Get over here." Glenn said sternly.
"Yes, Sir!"
Equally stern, Willie responded, though if it wasn’t over the top, he might have marched over.
In the end, Willie trotted over obsequiously.
"Captain, here I am."
Upon reaching Glenn, Willie immediately shifted to a fawning attitude.
"Bring some food over here."
Giving him a glance, Glenn ordered.
"Alright..." Willie promptly responded, dragging out his words, and after taking two steps back, he grinned and asked Glenn, "By the way, Captain, you and Flo... Ma’am, didn’t you eat outside? Coming back here to eat kinda kills the vibe..."
Retreating while he spoke, once he noticed Glenn’s gaze turning more ominous, Willie quickly shut up and hastily scurried back into the group.
With Glenn’s suppressing presence, Willie, after grabbing water and food, didn’t dare approach casually.
He just had a sharp tongue, intending to tease a bit, but with the Captain glowering, he figured he might get a kick if he went over. After deliberating, he opted to pay Joshua Bailey to do the errand by washing Bailey’s socks for a month.
Such a deal, Joshua Bailey readily agreed.
After this fuss, nearly the entire group finished their dinner within five minutes.
When everyone gathered together, only Iris Dukes, sneaky as ever, and the bold Flossie Wright were eating their food.
Flossie was an exception, and Glenn understood Iris Dukes’ bottomless pit of a stomach, so before real combat, he didn’t restrict her food intake and let it be.
It made the onlookers quite envious.
Wow, the Captain is playing favorites — he’s even favoring his woman’s subordinates...
So jealous!
