Otherwise, Glenn Hutchinson wouldn’t have shown her the students’ transcripts.
"How do you want to adjust?" Glenn asked with interest.
"You know what I’m good at."
Flossie Wright said calmly, but her meaning was clear.
Replace what she’s good at with what she’s not.
In fact, there are many things she’s good at and few she’s not, so if Glenn really wanted to make adjustments, it wouldn’t take much effort.
Just swap out two or three subjects.
For Glenn, such a small move would be just a matter of using his pen, but the question is if he’s willing to do so.
Glenn nodded lightly.
Yet, his brows subtly furrowed without him noticing.
Training isn’t set in stone; if he wants to, he can adjust it anytime.
Moreover, he knows very well that even if he indulges Flossie, she won’t become "arrogant because of favor."
However, he is indeed curious about what reasons led Flossie to actively seek him out and make such an extraordinary request.
After all, given Flossie’s nature, if she can avoid interference, she absolutely won’t interfere.
She hates trouble the most.
Unless she has a compelling reason to do so.
Seeing Glenn didn’t continue, Flossie suddenly spoke, breaking the silence between the two.
"What do you think?"
Glenn asked in return.
Shouldn’t one be curious when someone unlikely to do something actually does it?
Flossie shrugged but did not intend to explain.
"Flossie," Glenn slightly raised his gaze, calmly staring at her, speaking each word deliberately, "what capacity are you in to suggest this?"
Flossie furrowed her brows but answered decisively.
"Good," Glenn’s brows relaxed, "then, in my capacity as the instructor, I’ll tell you—"
Flossie watched him intently.
Glenn paused, then curled his lips, "It’s doable."
Instinctively raising an eyebrow, Flossie’s eyes showed a hint of surprise.
He actually agreed?
"Why?" Flossie asked.
"Because I’m happy to."
Glenn responded in a low voice, his words tinged with a teasing tone.
After saying this, Glenn stood up, paused for a moment, then glanced at Flossie, "Didn’t bring any supper today?"
Flossie rubbed her nose.
The last time she brought supper for him, it was just a spur-of-the-moment thing without a clear purpose, so she used it as an excuse. But this time was different; she came directly asking Glenn for help, bringing something on purpose would have seemed like a bribe.
Glenn grabbed his keys from the table and was about to head for the door, but he gave Flossie a special look, "Let’s go, I’ll take you to get supper."
Flossie raised an eyebrow.
Glenn returned at ten o’clock in the evening.
He hadn’t eaten since the afternoon and spent his time finding out about Flossie’s situation rather than doing anything else.
He had planned to go out for supper anyway.
And conveniently took Flossie along.
This time, Flossie and Glenn walked openly out of the school gates.
After that, everything went much more smoothly.
Both of them were quick.
Whether walking, ordering supper, or eating it.
All was settled in less than an hour.
